DeLand Manor has provided amazing care for my mother the past few years of her life. Mom passed away there last month at age 103. Mom, like all the residents, was treated like a family member. Mom had dementia and all she knew was the moment. DeLand Manor made those moments comfortable and pleasant and happy. She shared in meals and games with everyone. There is always a holiday or a special event to be decorated for and celebrated. We celebrated her last three birthdays there with everyone. The owners and their staff are joyful, loving, and caring. I would often be sent photos and videos of the day’s activities. Mom was truly in a loving environment. I have been in Healthcare for more than 50 years, and I’ve never seen care anywhere like that provided at DeLand Manor. I will be forever grateful to Myra, Dennis, and all the Staff at DeLand Manor! So the time came to put Mom in an ALF Where she could receive constant monitoring.. In our search, we found Deland Manor Assisted Living Facility. The owners, Myra and Dennis, were wonderful. They came to our home, met with mom, got to know her and see how ambulatory she was, and assessed her level of needed care. They understood her level of dementia, and we all thought Deland Manor would be a great fit. The staff understands that she has zero memory, and they are patient and kind when they have to answer her questions over and over and over. We know mom is safe, fed well, given her medicine multiple times a day, and a doctor even comes to the home once a week and checks on her. Everything she needs can be done in house. From Physical Therapy, church activities, entertainment, crafts, you name it, and Myra and Dennis can make it happen. We truly feel it was the right decision, the best decision, and we highly recommend it to anyone else who has to put a parent or loved one somewhere safe.

After 4 years and 3 horrible experiences at other assisted living facilities, we finally found Dad a home. They say, "home is where the heart is" and that describes Deland Manor perfectly. The owners and staff ensure your loved one is comfortable, clean and well cared for. Unlike the false promises of other facilities, Deland Manor delivers and exceeds expectations. Don't waste your time, call them today, you'll be glad you did.

This is the best run Assisted Living facility I've ever encountered. The care is first rate. The staff is gentle, skilled and caring. The food is terrific. The facility itself is clean and in great repair... beautiful common areas and well appointed rooms.

Dennis, Myra and their staff have and continue to provide my mother with the best care possible. She has been in multiple ALFs and DeLand Manor is by far the best in DeLand Florida. The home has a very clean and warm environment with a family feel and setting unlike others. I would like to personally thank you all for everything you do for my beautiful mother ❤️ Mary
