From my Dad's initial contact with Mark,Sandcastle has been nothing but professional and helpful. I never felt that Dad would not get the care he needed. The caregivers were well trained and showed Dad plenty of compassion. I highly recommend Sandcastle and believe the caregivers all have a unique gift for caring for our elderly relatives. My big thanks go out to Alexandria, Camellia, Betsy, Chaudanea, and Jennifer. Each call and personal visit has been a positive experience.

After wasting approximately 11 months with another agency, I switched to Deland Sand Castle. After a short period of time, Sand Castle has given us the very best fit in assigning Miguel to my husband’s case. Miguel has never tried to short cut our Care Plan. He is always engaging in conversations with my husband, who suffers from a compound brain disease, on a level that my husband can relate to. Miguel has been my saving grace and my husband is content and happy vs always on edge due to not receiving the necessary care he so desperately needs. Thank you to the staff, and the COO, for allowing me to speak up with my concerns regarding the care that I demanded. More importantly, you listened and acted upon my concerns.

We have an excellent caregiver for my mom through Sandcastle. Mom looks forward to seeing her each day and our caregiver is on-time and very responsible and caring with my mom who cannot walk on her own and has moderate dementia. The reason for giving a 4-star vs 5-star is that changing schedules has not been smooth with errors a couple times and calling in to the office passes through an Operator at times who will pass messages on to your office which I don’t feel confident actually happens or happens incorrectly.

Sandcastle employees have been caring for my mother for about a month. Each girl is compassionate, diligent and prompt. I was immediately impressed with Sandcastle, especially Mark. He guided me through the process of hiring and knowing what to expect. Sandcastle is adept at finding employees on short notice. All around, it’s been a great experience. We will continue to hire this service when Mom comes home.
