In my line of business, I visit senior living communities all across the valley. Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to visit Brookdale Baywood for the first time, and meet Ellie their head of sales. She was very friendly and we had a group meeting or she shared some of the community food which was delicious. There were several residents in around the community when I was there, and they all seemed to be happy and well cared for. The receptionist at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, as well as very attentive to everything that was going on around her.

The chef, staff and entertainment are wonderful during family events! The only issue that I experienced was that there was not enough room in the dining space to accommodate the residents, family and friends. Tables had to be set up in the hallway preventing access to the entertainment and made it very difficult for people to navigate especially with walkers or wheelchairs. The last event i attended, my family and I had to sit in the hallway and we felt disconnected from the fun. I would hate for this to prevent anyone from feeling welcome to come because it's such a great time for us all to connect. I'd love to see an expansion if possible!
