Fountain View Village by Cogir

Fountain View Village (FVV) has many activities, events, and social opportunities about which to sing praises, but my husband and I had a particularly wonderful experience that we want to share. Our family from England was visiting along with my brother and his wife from [name removed] and we wanted to entertain them here at FVV. Altogether our party included 12 adults and 5 children, ranging in age from 8 months to 6 years. We met with [name removed], Director of [name removed], to plan a dinner to be served in the Maricopa Room, generally used for meetings and event dining. Three tables for adults were arranged with elegant table settings and a separate table was set for the children. We planned the menu with Brian that included special cocktails that we always served the Brits whenever they visited us in our home. Brian personally made the cocktails and surprised us with a delightful appetizer. The mouthwatering buffet included two main courses, two salads, a vegetable, two types of bread and an array of good wines. The buffet was followed by a dessert of molten chocolate cake with raspberries. Our guests raved about the delicious food and drinks, the atmosphere, and the excellent service to which they were treated. I absolutely love Fountain View Village. The facility is beautiful, welcoming, and very community-oriented. The staff and residents are incredibly engaging, and there’s a strong sense of connection throughout. I especially appreciate their support group for blind and low vision individuals in and around Fountain Hills. It meets on the third Monday of each month—call for more details. They do a great job offering support while still respecting independence, which makes a big difference. The bistro is also a highlight—delicious lunch options and very kind, helpful staff. Fountain View Village is one of the nicest communities I have ever been in. Not only is the interior so incredibly beautiful, but everyone who works there is so friendly. You can tell that everybody is happy there- both staff and residents. They really go above and beyond to ensure that everyone is receiving the best experience. The food is spectacular too! Rosie is one of the most get-it-done people I know. She is on top of everything all the time and is excellent at communicating. She takes her job seriously and it really shows. I would highly recommend this community to everyone!!!

My parents moved here just before Covid. We managed through that and on through the good care and friendships they enjoyed until they passed. They were most appreciative of the staff, caregivers, medical care et al. Everyone knows there needs to be more staff in the caregivers and the dining room at times. This is the premier requirement for 5 STAR satisfaction. A special shout out to the Event coordinators Joel and Ryan, plus the pub staff. The Musical Happy Hours are truly the highlight of the week. The dance classes and games are a joy. Our family thanks you all for making this a most happy community for our parents to enjoy their final years. 💖

Joel and the activities team are amazing! There are' so many activities each month. I am in awe of what you can do each day. Not only indoor activities but lunches and dinners out, which are fun and a great change of pace. The activities team is very kind and compassionate and really look out for the residents also.
