It was stressful making the decision regarding when and where would be the best place for memory care for my husband of 57 years. Brookdale has proven to be a place my husband is living his best life. Each visit I can know he is cared for. I am thankful we made this choice.

Such terrible people answering the phone, get new staff. The lady that answers the phone shouldn’t even be working there with her nasty attitude.

Turnover remains high among medical staff, care givers and activity directors. Personal items have disappeared. Not enough Staff to monitor residents.

Before placing my dad in memory care he wasn't eating regularly or taking his meds; a couple of times neighbors heard the smoke alarm going off only to find that dad had put something on the stove and forgot about it, he was in a very unsafe state of mind. From my first visit there it felt peaceful and comfortable. Brookdale was a wonderful place for our dad. Dad loved the staff there, and he could feel their love and care from them. They were always kind and listened to him. the staff were great at keeping me informed if he needed things and if there needed to be a change made to his plan of care. Family activities were encouraged, and the facility would host family dinners where I would get a chance to meet other residents and their families. The families were a great resource and support for me.
