Staff are wonderful and go above and beyond, not only for their residents but also family members. Provided education for care, medications and treatments. I would recommend this facility for rehabilitation and long term care for you or your loved ones. Excellent in every detail from activities, management, housekeeping and Nursing staff!

I took my family to the Easter event at brickyard healthcare in Valparaiso last month and as soon as I walked in I could immediately sense the amount of hard work and dedication put into the event. From the decorations, to the events my family had an absolute blast and they really enjoyed the Easter bunny, who was a pleasant surprise. Not only were the decorations and Easter themed activities pleasently charming, but so we're the staff who were incredibly helpful and willing to go out of their way to make the kids feel more included. Also, another thing I noticed was the executive director, who was not fitting the normal boss stereotype, but was actively involved and in tune with everything that was going on and made sure to comfort the guests and made sure to check on us to see if we're having a good time. I highly recommend this healthcare facility, for the staff not only care about doing they're job properly, but they also care about the residents and whether they are comfortable or not. Anyone who spends more than 10 minutes around the staff can clearly see that they are not just working here for a paycheck, but they are working here because it is they're passion and anyone can clearly see that they truly care about the residents and their comfort. Lastly, I see the most important factor in any work setting, they not only function as a work team, but as a family.

Addendum.... The absolute worst nursing home in Valparaiso. It's filthy. The staff are horribly incompetent.<br>Its a horrible place. DO NOT put your loved ones here. ESPECIALLY if they can't speak up for themselves or are unable to. The care at this place is NONEXISTENT. The staff are truly horrible to the patients 😕

I brought my grandparents here, and now my husband. he staff is very professional and diligent. They took a good care of my loved one, and they really care. I appreciate everyone that has assisted, especially the Admissions Director for ensure a very smooth transition.
