I’m torn between a 3 and 4 but gave a 4.<br><br>My father is currently a resident at this facility, and I was admittedly very skeptical at first because the building itself is quite old and could definitely use updates and renovations. However, that is beyond the staff’s control.<br><br>AVIR Health Group should really try and get this facility an update. Their sister facility has already gone through updates, it’s time to share the love.<br><br>That said, the administrator has been wonderful, and most of the staff have been great as well. My father has consistently been happy, clean, well cared for, and clean-shaven every time we visit and our visits are never scheduled; we simply pop in unannounced.<br><br>We did experience a difficult situation involving a fall. There were differing accounts between AVIR and hospice regarding exactly how the fall occurred, which was understandably upsetting to hear. However, he was immediately sent to the hospital, treated appropriately, and later discharged back to the facility.<br><br>At the end of the day, what matters most to me is that my father is happy, clean, fed, and comfortable , and he has had no complaints. The nurses and aides genuinely seem to know him as a person, not just as a patient, and that gives me a great deal of peace of mind

This is the one Of the worst nursing homes I’ve seen my friend‘s mom is there. She’s is a fall risk, but has no bed rails on her bed. She has fallen there multiple times. She doesn’t even have an arm band stating that she is a fall risk and as you can see in the photos, there’s tissue paper shoved in holes in the bathroom wall and with Alzheimer’s patients, they tend to pick up stuff and put it in their mouth the paint is peeling off the walls she’s trying to her best to get her mom out of there, but unfortunately, her sister has medical power of attorney. The only reason she’s still there. It’s sad.

Regency is very clean and people are very friendly. They residents seems to really enjoy the different events that Regency have in place..
