I am formally escalating serious concerns regarding the leadership of DON Burns. There is a clear pattern of excessive employee terminations under her direction, which has resulted in ongoing staffing shortages and operational instability. These conditions are placing the safety of our Veterans at risk. It is my understanding that these concerns have previously been reported; however, no effective corrective action has been taken, and the issues persist. This reflects a significant leadership failure that requires immediate intervention.I am requesting a prompt and thorough investigation into her management practices and the impact on staffing and patient care. I will continue to escalate this matter until it is fully addressed and appropriate action is taken.
