Prior to choosing, my wife and I did a lot of research on Assisted Living facilities in our area. We also had friends and family who suggested several to us. We narrowed it down to three and visited two. Above and beyond was Western Hills! We moved in and we are only more pleased with our new home each day!! The staff, residents, and visitors (musicians, artists, etc.) are so friendly and upbeat. Also, there are many fun activities to be involved in! We are so excited about our future here. In 2025, I was invited to Western Hills Senior Living to give a Black history talk. It was an amazing experience. The residents welcomed me warmly and truly enjoyed the presentation. They asked thoughtful questions, and we discussed emancipation in Texas—when it occurred and its significance. I also had the opportunity to learn from them, as they shared their own experiences and journeys connected to that history.

I had a amazing time touring this facility i got the chance to see the residents with one of the staff calling out bingo and I got a chance to have lunch with them it was a awesome experience to interact with the residents the facility was nice it was clean and well organized.
