We had to send my grandmother somewhere for rehab and had a terrible experience with our first choice, they had pretty good reviews and were close to us, this was our second choice because it was a 30 minute drive from home. I wish we had gone with them from the start they are so worth the drive! They were amazing, they obviously truly care about their residents and I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone who finds themselves needing assisted care or rehab. The Dr was so thorough and the nurses and aids were as well. My grandma required a lot of care as she is completely incontinent and had double pneumonia along with a list of other things. They were amazing with her and kept my mother and I informed every step of the way. Even the housekeepers had such caring and thoughtful words to share with me and with her during our stay there. 10 out of 10, if you are faced with the need for a rehab THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONE.

I am pleased as a whole with the care my mother receives at this nursing home. The staff are all very friendly and caring toward her and let me know how she is doing when I am not there. She has become more talkative since being there this past year. She has lost most of her past the last several years but is now paying more attention to what is going on around her and speaking about it. She is now able to get around by herself in her wheelchair so she is able to have some independence. She eats all her meals and enjoys them. She used to be kind of picky once she stopped being able to cook for herself. The laundry is very efficient and takes care with her clothes and blankets. I am grateful that this has worked out as a good home for her once I was no longer able to care for her. I also want to say that this nursing home is the cleanest and best smelling one I myself have ever worked in or visited.

I have complained about food yet nothing changes but for a week maybe then they go back to cold or raw or tough food and feed rice many dats a week. They do not follow the menu. The administration is good and the nursing care is good. Bathrooms are too small for wheelchairs and rooms with two people have no space to move around. Menu example says sweet potatoes they are happy then they go in and it’s rice again and food is Cold not even warm

Older building, transient staff, food services are consistently poor and delayed. We seem to have the same conversation with staff regarding care and medication administration. Nursing staff does seem to listen to their bout from the family. However there are some staff that seem invested in patient well being and this is a comparable care option to what is available with Bell County.
