While researching senior living facilities, my wife came across Woodland Cottages on Facebook and decided to check them out. When we first arrived we were greeted by Melissa who was very friendly and immediately took her time to explain everything about the cottages, including showing us a couple of units that were available. Having looked at several other senior living facilities we awe struck by how nice, bright, and open the units were. From that time we decided that we wanted to live here. Since then we have gotten to meet and know Rachael. She has been a most gracious and professional individual who seems to always be willing to go out of her way to assist you, no matter how busy she is. Both Rachael and Melissa are the perfect team to oversee the day to day operation of Woodland Cottages.

What a wonderful place to call home. We are blessed. My wife has dementia, Rachael, Melissa and the residents help keep track of her and make her feel at home. I'm so, so thankful. Rachael kept in contact with me for over a year as we considered moving to Texas from South Carolina to be nearer family. We moved here a couple months back into a 2 bedroom unit, recently decided to lower our cost and Rachael made it very easy to relocate into a 1 bedroom unit. Check the Woodlands out, you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful Community. Safe, quiet, surprisingly spacious units (even the smallest one bedroom is very spacious), very well kept, friendly residents, and close to all the food, stores and pharmacies a 55+ would need. Definitely not the cheapest, but in my opinion there is value in that. When you factor everything this community offers, in addition to the proximity to places that seniors value, (at least my senior), that make this place an excellent option. Rachael was wonderful, she gave us a no pressure tour which was very refreshing and took into consideration a special request we had and did her best to come up with solutions when she otherwise didn't have to and it was nice to see that she takes pride in the community and knows the residents as people. 5 stars, highly recommend!
