Thank you to the CNA’s and Nurses that really took care of my mom while she was alive. But for the CNA’s I seen in the hallways on their phones , always with a face when you asked them to help my mom. I would say get a new job this field working with older people not for you. Also for hospice I wouldn’t recommend for anyone those pain meds are to strong just makes them more tired so when it’s time to feed them they won’t be awake to eat there food and sometimes my mom wasn’t in pain and they still gave her pain meds. Also to person that was helping in the beginning was late and hardly helped my mom, thank you to the new lady that worked with my mom in the end she did great job. I hope the CEO of the nursing home changes things there also hire more nurses I would always hear they were short at times. Thank you to one of the CNA’s Rita she worked so good with my mom cared for her my mom loved you very much would always tell me how nice you would take care of her thank you that ment the world to me I hope this nursing home get more kind hearted CNAs like her. 🙏🕊️❤️

Negligent, care-free nursing staff. My mom has the misfortune of staying here and in the ~2 months or so, she's been given a TV with a remote that doesn't work, all while the TV displays random information on the sides like the TV was left in "Store Mode". We notified the nurses and doctors over a month ago and they assured us that the request has been put in to fix her TV. Today I found out that the TV is STILL having the same issues, despite the fact that we've brought it up several times and were assured that it would be taken care of. I live 7 hours away so I'm only able to visit occasionally, the last visit was a month ago, which is when we complained about the issues her TV was having... not only was that not resolved but we brought her food the day we had to return home and we just found out today that the very same food we brought AN ENTIRE MONTH AGO, was just rotting by her bedside in the bag. When I was there the nursing staff was just relieved that I would feed her instead of them? This is acceptable service for a debilitated individual? This is disgraceful while you continue to demand payment for this subpar quality of living. I will be filing a complaint with her insurance provider and with the Administrator, David Ianacone who only stopped by to introduce himself when he was worried about her insurance lapsing. The priorities really show and it's pathetic for a so-called nursing care facility. They'll preemptively harass you for payment/insurance security, even the Administrator doing so during your limited visiting time, but they won't uphold a reasonable standard of care that is expected in a nursing home. How is it possible that you do less than what her family can do for her? Update 1/14/26: Interesting to see them acknowledge 5 star reviews immediately while negative reviews are met with deafening silence.

Our family is incredibly grateful for the exceptional care our parents received during their respite stay. From the moment they arrived, the staff was welcoming, compassionate, and attentive. They treated our parents with dignity, patience, and genuine kindness, which gave us great peace of mind. The facility was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the nursing and support staff were always available to answer questions and provide updates. Our parents felt safe, respected, and truly cared for, and they even enjoyed the activities and social interaction. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience during this time. We highly recommend this nursing home to any family looking for short-term or long-term care with a team that truly cares.

This was our second rehab stint with an elderly family member in the last year- I thought the first one was awful until I experienced Agawam West. In the 3 weeks my family member was there she was showered one time. I was there daily and did her laundry- she stunk- when I addressed it they told me I was wrong. I insisted she confirmed she hadn’t been bathed and they said she was also wrong. It took me 3 days to realize they didn’t provide a tooth brush or anything else so I brought it all in. Even though I brought in clean clothes regularly she was often the same clothes or a johnie. She was not incontinent but they put her in diapers and told her that they wouldn’t be able to get her to the toilet in time so just pee the diaper- which is completely degrading and unnecessary. She called me at home multiple times to tell me that no one was coming to help her and asked that I can the desk. When I would, they would say ‘she’s fine’ and hang up. The TVs didn’t work. I asked seven different people how I could get it to work and they said they didn’t. If you are confined to a room and no one comes to help you, the least you could do is have a TV that works. At one point I went in and noticed the phone was unplugged from the wall- which I found interesting. The place is under construction and always dirty. There were bloody tissues all over the floor of her room- were they hers or her roommates? No idea but it’s gross. On the Sunday before she left she developed an awful cough. I asked every day if it needed to get looked at. They said she was fine. She was discharged a week later- with a worse cough and is now inpatient in the hospital with pneumonia. It’s amazing how these places are allowed to function this way. If you don’t want to take care of patients with dignity and respect, get out of the business.

I want to give negative stars. My family member lays in bed all day dirty and in the same clothes for days. They have laid in their own urine and feces for hours! The food is horrible not even fit for a prisoner. When I call to have them go in her room it’s always a rude CNA with all the excuses to not do their job! Even with new renovations this place is a dump! Smells like urine when you walk in the door!
