Riverview - An Optalis Health & Rehabilitation Center is located off Route 315 on Olentangy River Road in Columbus, Ohio, across from Riverside Hospital, serving Clintonville, Upper Arlington, Worthington, and the greater Columbus area. The community offers post-hospital rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, assisted living, and respite care, with individualized care plans developed for each resident or patient.

The rehabilitation program includes inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy, supported by a state-of-the-art therapy gym. Rooms available for rehabilitation stays include furnished private and semi-private options with half baths, basic cable, and Wi-Fi. Pre-surgery reservations can be made for those planning a procedure, with no financial obligation if surgery is postponed or canceled.

Long-term skilled nursing care is available for residents who can no longer live safely at home, with support for daily living activities in a patient-directed care model that includes input from residents and families. Assisted living at Riverview consists of 60 private, one-bedroom suites featuring separate living, sleeping, and kitchenette areas, individual climate control, an emergency call system, a full private bath, and a walk-in closet; residents are encouraged to personalize their suites with their own furnishings. Riverview is an ODA-certified Medicaid Waiver provider under the assisted living program, with private-pay requirements prior to Medicaid Waiver eligibility.

An Assisted Living Rehab & Recovery program combines a furnished suite with 24/7 nursing support and personal care assistance, and can serve as a way to evaluate whether the community might become a permanent home. Respite care is offered as short-term stays in either skilled nursing or assisted living, ranging from a few days to a few weeks, with 24-hour nursing access and a personalized care plan. Outpatient therapy is also available for those who live at home but travel to the center for physical, occupational, or speech therapy services.

Riverview provides end-of-life care focused on dignity and comfort, along with social and recreational activities throughout the week, hospitality services, and 24-hour visitation for guests. Amenities include in-room flat-screen TVs, private phones, and Wi-Fi, gathering spaces for socializing, a full-service salon and barbershop, and interdisciplinary care conferences for progress updates and discharge planning. Dining services offer seasonal, bistro, and heart-health menus, ethnic dishes, homemade soups and desserts, and flexible options such as room service, snacks, and guest meals.
