The business and administrative staff are unresponsive to phone calls. My aunt feels safe and her Villa staff are very sweet, caring, and kind to her. However, there is a lot of staff turnover and housekeeping is poor. Whoever plans the menus needs to work on food presentation because the elders are served some strange combinations. We like the place because it is very small and my aunt doesn’t seem overwhelmed in the space. As I say her Villa staff are wonderful to her.

We can't say enough good things about the staff in villa 5. Those guys and gals, especially Angel and Angela were Awesome in the care my mother received while she was there. The case workers along with the admissions ladies are great also.

My Father-n-law has recently found a home at Guerin Woods. I call it a home because the atmosphere is totally like a home. He feels very content and well cared for. He enjoys having his own room with all of his favorite items. He likes the food and feels the staff treats him with respect. He also has told us that when he has a need they are very quick to help him.

I have visited someone there and the workers were great! The place was clean with and home cooked meals .The girls there clean, cook and take care of the elderly and still smile. They decorate great for Christmas and have an electric fireplace in the villa I visited. I'm sure no one wants to be away from home .But if I had to stay in a home, that one would be nice.

My dad lived at Guerin Woods for 14 months. He had both Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. He enjoyed the activities and music therapy that they offered, but he suffered from anxiety issues, which made his care challenging. The nurses, aids, and administrators always treated him with love and respect. We as a family regularly meet with representatives from every department so that we were directly involved in his care plan. We trusted them with our father's care, and they did not let us down. The love and attention they showed my father meant so much to us as a family. My dad passed away just a few weeks ago, and it was so touching to see administrators, aids, nurses, and family members of other residents in his villa come to his visitation to pay their respects. I think that truly speaks to the family atmosphere that we experienced at Guerin Woods. We know that he was in the best place for care and recommend it to anyone with a loved one in a similar situation.
