I spent 3 weeks here, and I had a very good experience. As a 25 year old with a severe pelvic injury, I was very nervous to have to stay in a nursing home/rehab facility until I was well enough to go home. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. They took the time to speak with me and my family if we had any questions or concerns, went the extra mile to make sure I was provided with resources to make my recovery easier, and made me feel at home throughout my stay. From the first person I met I had positive experiences. The admission coordinator eased all of my concerns and took the time to make me feel comfortable and cared for from the day I was admitted to the day I was discharged. She was always positive and encouraging, which was a great help in keeping my spirits up. She is an extraordinary individual to whom I will always be grateful. The CNA’s were kind, supportive, and very helpful. The nurses were compassionate and consistently did everything in their power to make me comfortable. The administrative staff were incredibly helpful in assisting me with my plan of care moving forward. They spent hours on the phone with various people to ensure I would be set up for success. The PT and OT staff were wonderful. They provided me with the tools and strength I needed to become more independent in life with my injuries and showed genuine care throughout my time with them. I could not be more thankful for all of the individuals who took part in getting me where I am today. They did everything in their power to prepare me for the next steps in my recovery. I would highly recommend you or your loved ones to choose third ave health and rehab for your care.
