The staff goes the extra mile. For example, my mother leaves for dialysis three times a week and she struggles to get ready in time. The staff makes sure mom is up, dressed, had breakfast, and is in the lobby before transportation is there.

Thank you Phoenix!

Update: after three plus years, my mother-in-law continues to thrive at The Phoenix at Milton. She has been in the memory care unit which is a great size for her. I have seen other memory care units that are larger and I think this would be more difficult for her. The food, staff and activities are engaging for her and we love the consistency. The staff to resident ratio is also good for the size of the facility. The one thing that stands apart is the family feeling. Staff, residents and resident family members all have a special connection. We noticed this early on, but after three years, it is a very special bond. As new people move in, they are immediately welcomed and become part of that family. When people pass, we mourn and try to stay connected to those we have met. We are very happy she is here.

Original review from 2023: We moved my mother-in-law here a month ago. She does have dementia and had been in assisted living in another state. She is now in memory care and loves the food, the care and the activities. She has improved physically since moving and is more stable on her feet. She cannot say enough good things about the kindness of the staff, the meals and the activities. Assisted living was a little too big for her but memory care is much more comfortable in finding her way and the number of activities offered. We visit often and see how engaged she is now, and all of the staff know us. She is still able to leave with us occasionally and she is starting to ask when she is going back as she doesn’t want to miss out on anything! When we left last night, she was chatting with staff and another resident. We can’t say enough about how well she is doing in adjusting after the move to a new location. Kudos to the staff at Phoenix at Milton!
