The facility, the staff, the leadership, all are exceptional. They made our father’s stay as pleasant as it could be. He was in The Pearl neighborhood and we felt like family with all of the other residents and the team that cared for them.

I'm not sure where to begin. My mother-in-law, being eighty four at the time was ready to sell her house after many decades. And after many weeks of looking for the right fit, she along with my husband, (her son) found The Phoenix!!

Cindy, was wonderful!! Extremely accommodating and made every aspect of the move as a whole easier. Mom.. feel in love with The Phoenix! She had no regrets walking away from her house! The staff, the people, the entirety of the environment stole her heart!

Don't misunderstand me there were the typical complaints here and there - such as, wait for it 'the food' by mom. However, my husband and I can both attest upon all our visits, the food was good. I won't mention she (mom) has no sense of smell, and minimal taste..shh!! I simply believe we all have our own way of cooking, remembering how he or she made this or that. So, yesss, I can see where so many of these different facilities have the same comments concerning the food. Butttt, they also don't have Chef Antonio!! How wonderful it was to realize they're actually open to the public too. Check-out: Beau & Belle restaurant!! Ohh, and you can not miss out on Chef Antonio's event nights!! He really knows how to bring it all to the table! And the FOOD.. is WOWING!! Taco Tuesday is mouth-watering!! Another must try is his Thursday morning create your own omelets, once again, AMAZING!!

The entire team and staff are the best!! Their genuine eagerness, matched with kindness to get to (personally) know the residents is truly authentic.

We couldn't be more pleased. Moreover, confident in choosing The Phoenix as the safe place for mom!!

Then there's Brandi! Brandi has been heaven sent!! I don't know HOW SHE DOES IT ALL!! SHE HAS BEEN SIMPLY AMAZING ALL ALONG WAY! There's not just that 'ONE' thing.. we can put our finger on when it comes to her!! Because it's EVERYTHING!! She is constantly and consistently involved. She has been a rock for both my husband and myself as mom's health has taken a turn!! She has truly
stepped up going over and beyond our expectations. Actively taking care of things, advising us on next right steps and so much more!! Even sharing tears during difficult times and decisions! Simply PRICELESS!! Brandi, there are NO WORDS!! From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you so much!!

Also recognizing a handful her enriching neighbors/residents that made such a difference in mom's experience there too: Jane, Kathy, Caroline, Richard and Tom on the 3rd floor, thank you for making mom apart of your family up there on 'The Puzzle Floor'!!

Wishing you all the best!! May God Bless you ALL there at The Phoenix!! We will truly miss you all!

Sincerely,
Russell and Kim Thompson

Updated review: March 18, 2026
Since mom fell in January and the result was losing the ability to walk, she required a lot more assistance in her assisted living apartment. I want to name employees that worked above and beyond to help her and our family! Brandi Powell is of a high position as the assistant director, but you would never know it! She visited mom, texted me to check on her, dealt with insurance, all with a big smile. Felicia Raughton, the director of all activities, made time to visit mom, text me about her care, and show a genuine compassion for her. Melissa, the staff nurse, helped me when I needed emergency advice and direction, even after hours! She visited mom and gave direction to the med techs and aides to best help mom. I have to shout out my favorite aide. Cecilia (Cici) treated my mom as if it were her mom. She's humble, thoughtful, compassionate, and is not afraid of real work! She's quick to come when called, and can handle residents like a pro.I can't say enough good about the Phoenix at Braselton. I read the negative reviews and since I've had mom there for 3 years, I could truly argue that there was a solution for each one. If you're considering moving a relative here, you better hurry because it's usually full, so you'll have to get on a waiting list. I hope this review helps someone out there!

The Phoenix at Braselton a huge blessing to my Mom and to our family! She moved in a year ago, and has all great things to say about it. Literally, no complaints! She attends many activities each week because there is such a variety available. The activities director and all of her assistants are really great, always greeting with a smile and with energy and enthusiasm that is contagious to others. The activities fall in many different categories, so there is lots of variety for each resident's style and preference. Mom has found making friends easy at the Phoenix because she has the opportunity to be around other residents several times each day if she chooses. Mom says the food is great, and she has lots of choices of what to order. When I visit, I find that it's just like being in a nice restaurant! My family and I are in and out often, and have found the staff from each area of the Phoenix to be smiling, friendly, and ready to help and serve at any time. This is from the custodial area, maintenance, dining room servers, the concierge, all the way to the director himself. It is amazing to me how the staff know the residents by name! I have to rave about the atmosphere also, as it is beautifully decorated, with lots of space in all the common areas and hallways, and the cleanliness is like what I see in the best of doctors' offices. With Mom living at the Phoenix, we are at peace knowing that she is happy and her days are filled with great opportunities to live her life to the fullest.
