If you need a real review here’s one for you. I’ll go over details and the truth as they have erased comments on social media and more.

The good:
-If your loved one is simply physical disabled (not able to walk, run, carry much) they’re an ok place. They have activities.
-Meals and medicines are mostly on time.
-Some of the staff is friendly

The Bad:
-We found the staff making fun of residents in the break room.
-Management has very bad attitude
-Staff correction is so poor because they fear losing staff.
-Not enough staff
-Medical personnel is only available at very limited times of the day.
-Doctor on call is only available once a month.
-Wont answer simple questions like “can we put a camera in our loved ones room as they requested?” (Who wouldn’t after hearing them speak so bad about residents)

My story:

My grandmother was put here outside of my personal control by my aunt. I will take some blame here as my aunt hid the fact that my grandmother had early onset dementia. Yet, they still accepted her. Now, that was wrong on both ends. But after one visit in we walked around the corner only to hear 3 nurses bad talk my grandmother and other residents. They were confronted and management was made aware but little to nothing was done. Shortly after, I would ask questions via social media and phone call about cameras, they acted shocked and upset I asked on the phone and never got back to me. Then deleted my comments on Facebook.

From the outside the place seems ok. I think if your family member is “easy” to care for they’ll be a great place. But I’m not paying for “easy” to care for. We’re paying for skilled professionals who can handle difficult situations. They don’t, they can’t and they won’t.

Do with this what you will. Also good luck deleting Meadows because I’ll be back if you do!!
