I reccommend if you are thinking about sending a loved one here, think twice and read the negative reviews. I was fooled thinking this was a great facility b/c they had 4 * and positive reviews. The negative ones are real situations that occured b/c I experienced that. I am extremely disappointed with the care my grandmother received during her stay. While I was out of town, my cousin observed several serious issues. My grandmother, who cannot feed herself, was not consistently given meals without repeated reminders. On one occasion, she wasn’t even provided dinner, and staff incorrectly said she had refused it. There were also significant delays in care. She was left soiled for extended periods, and requests for assistance often went unanswered for long stretches of time. We are also concerned that medications were not properly administered. In addition, I personally experienced dismissive and unprofessional behavior when trying to ask questions about her care. What was most alarming is that this didn’t appear to be isolated—My cousin witnessed other patients being ignored as well. Understaffing is not an acceptable excuse for this level of neglect. I do not have confidence in this facility and strongly encourage leadership to make serious improvements. Patients deserve better. The canned response to reach out because you cannot discuss a patient on here. Do not bother, I have reached out directly.

I love the staff so much!!! They are so caring and have lots of snacks!! Denise, Shemeka, Pam, AnnMarie, Bonna, Chelsea, Ashlee, and Trevor were all amazing. Whatever we needed they supplied. They all work so hard and truly care about what they do!!! Protect them at all cost!!

I don’t normally do google reviews but my Aunt has been experiencing some major health challenges after her stroke in June of 2025. She’s now been to LOBA twice and each time Pam (I think she’s a nurse or case mgr). I’m not sure what she is to THEM but to ME, she was heaven sent! I was going through a surgery myself and this woman was the MOST amazing, patient and present person I’ve ever dealt with in a hospital. The staff there was incredible and I’ve never felt more comfortable for my aunt to be in a facility since her stroke. People PLEASE don’t overlook Laurels at Bon Air. They’ll take care of you AND your loved one!!! If I could give them 10 stars I would!

All the staff (nurses, aids, housekeeping, kitchen) were great and caring-just needed more aids for help. Crystal and Wendy were especially caring for my mother. Ashli also made sure my mother was showered before she was moved out. Thank you all for caring for my mother as if she was your mother.

The WORST! The cleaning staff did not do their job. Placed my parents in a dirty room where there was food in the drawers from another patient. The staff bagged up soiled clothing with the waste still in in the clothing for the family to clean instead of disposing the waste in the toilet and rising the soiled clothing before bagging it. Personal clothing went missing even with my mom’s name and room number written in the clothing. My mom had someone else’s clothes on when I went to visit. Staff just leaves the food in front of the patient and doesn’t feed them. Staff does not ensure patient’s teeth are brushed and face is cleaned. I had to brush my mom’s teeth and clean her face. My mother is allergic to pineapple and it clearly states on her food ticket that she is allergic. What do they give her……..PINEAPPLE! I did not want to give a one star rating but that is the only way I could post my review. They don’t deserve any stars. HORRIBLE! The business card states: The Laurels of Bon Air is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care in a warm and welcoming environment. Guest satisfaction is our highest priority. That’s a lie!
