We have lived here 6plus years and we love it!! We have met many wonderful friends, engaged in many activities, enjoyed being part of Arizona, enjoyed the staff as being accommodating and helpful, enjoyed our independent style of living, yet the ability to become part of groups is here available whenever we choose, and we would ( and have) highly recommended The Colonnade to our friends!!

Enjoy the friendly staff, variety of activities, learning experiences and friends I have met here in the last 11 years. Also love the sense of well being I get living in a safe and caring environment. If I should need anything I know I only have to pick up the phone or push my emergency button and someone will be right there to care for me.

9 years ago when we were both in our late 70's we made a decision to move to The Colonnade. Of course we were impressed with the lovely grounds, 3 restaurants, 2 pools, fitness rooms with programs, activities and classes galore. We chose a casita, which is our own home in the Independent living area. We never regretted that decision. I am SO GLAD that we did so when our health allowed us to be actively involved in this great little community. It is much like the very small town I grew up in. Everyone knows each other, neighbors become friends and we all care about one another, (residents and staff alike). We are like a big family.<br>If you are looking ahead about the best way to enjoy your "golden years", may I suggest you drop by for a "look see". I believe you will be as excited to start the next phase in life as we were.

As Midwesterners my wife Karen and I were very hesitant about giving up our home overlooking the green golf course at The Grand, next door. That feeling lasted only two days. We have lived in many homes throughout the US and have never felt the wonderful acceptance of the new friends and neighbors that we have found at The Colonnade. We feel part of a wonderful caring family. And at five years it just keeps getting better.
