The staff is very caring and knowledgeable. This made up for the lack of housekeeping. Sometimes hard to get hold of the staff but when you did they followed through and were very helpful. They took good care of my brother.

If I could give negative stars I would. My grandmother was found in her bed by my aunt with a broken hip covered in bruises and feces. This type of neglect is literally criminal. She’s currently in the hospital on comfort care because surgery to repair her hip is too risky. A report with Adult Protective Services is being filed as we speak. Stay very far away.

My dad just moved in. They had his meds ready. When I opened his room door, I noticed it was bright with new paint and a bed provided. I was encouraged to put up pictures and make it home for him. Such warm staff welcome him. Very helpful maintenance guy Jorden when I was rearranging his room he was happy to help. Vicki is very caring and available to answer questions. My dad was in tears with joy of his room and staff. Residents were so friendly to my dad and was giving him the low down at dinner time. Christa was a champion with all my questions and helping with the process of getting him a room, I’m very grateful. Thank you arbor for the warm welcoming for my dad.

Two stars probably because I try to see the positive sides of things... I don't want to take it out on the staff because memory care is a hard job, and I am betting these guys are underpaid. However, it really does feel like this place is understaffed. That's not their fault, it's their giant Corportation's fault. I want to say that the Registered Nurse at the facility while my Grammy was there, Katrina, was the sweetest and most helpful person on staff. I would call her out of her working hours and she would respond. She would call me with medical concerns once she heard them. But she was the only one that really gave me warm feelings. However, she is one RN for over 40 residents. I frequently heard from their corporate financial staffer who harassed me daily when my Grammy's Medicaid was still in process and they didn't get their monthly payment. This was the month before my Grammy passed because she fell in her room at their facility, had a broken back, wasn't given extra care when she couldn't get out of bed, crying in pain, and dropped her food on her floor when she tried to eat it in bed. The financial staffer sent us a letter threatening to kick her out of the facility because Medicaid didn't pay. They also didn't give us a way out, it was either "Find $12,000 or were getting our legal department involved". We never had to deal with their legal department because my Grammy passed away three weeks later. They never called me to tell me when it happened. Her hospice nurse called me later that evening... (by the way, if your loved one has dementia, they probably will qualify for hospice, GET HOSPICE CARE IT'S THE BEST THING I EVER DID) This place is expensive, $5000/month minimum, but they're "Medicaid Licensed". This means the facility is licensed to be a place that the State funds, and ultimately means most residents here are probably low-income, and it shows. The over-arching corporation obviously does the bare minimum that the law requires so they can drain the state of Medicaid money. If I were to do it all over again, I would find a small, privately-owned Adult Family Home. Although this facility looks big and pretty, your loved-one probably needs more attentive care than they do an outdoor patio. You care more about looks than they do at this point in their lives. Private-Owned adult family homes are cheaper, and are required to have more staff per resident compared to a facility like this.
