I was lucky enough to find Sunshare Terrace 17 years ago when I was in desperate need to find a place to house a sibling that was living in Spokane but no longer capable of taking care of himself. As an out of state person with a very short time window, the situation was extremely stressful. Not only did Sunshine Terrace come through when I was in a bind 17 years ago, they have consistenly taken care of my sibling in a such a caring and complete manner for these 17 years that I constantly count my lucky stars that I found them. I called and spoke with the social worker today about the multifaceted issues I am having with my aging mother. She was amazingly helpful and listened to all the issues, even the ones that were not directly linked to getting care at the facility. If her care and attitude reflect the rest of the staff, I hope if/when mom needs care we can place her here.

Lots of staff gossip. Management is very inexperienced with navigating these situations and generally side with the girls causing the drama. UPDATE: we took Matt up on his offer made under this post and sent him an email regarding the situation and we got zero response.

I am grateful for the caring staff and personal here. My daughter is a resident and it has been life changing for her and our whole family. Her mental health is improving daily. She loves the kindness and help she is receiving.
