Dad going into a care facility was so very hard for our family. Mom had her bladder and the cancer removed in June of 2024 and was navigating that when Dad fell and broke his back in August. By years end Dad needed to go into a home. My sister located Heart & Hand and toured and met with Moses and Vlad and made all arrangements to have Dad moved there. To be completely honest I was reluctant, as I wanted him home with mom, but his care needs were more than I and mom could handle. Mom was doing kemo as dad was settling in and getting used to never living at home again. Our visits were a 80 mile drive and mom was often wore out from kemo by the time we got there It was a sad time and hard for both of them. But everyone at Heart and Hand were so amazing giving dad exceptional care and all the time they could to help him settle in and feel at home there. He soon became very good friends with the whole families there. Vlad and Moses learned to play cribbage with dad and spent much time listening to him tell about his life. Dad shed tears of sadness as he adjusted but they helped him along the way and meet his every need right down to placing bookselves and pictures on the wall to make his room his own.<br>Mom passed in September of 2025 and Vlad and Moses attended her funeral as they had become her family too.<br>They have been a blessing to my dad and I am so very grateful that they are caring for him now. Mom's passing was very hard for dad. But Vlad and Moses and their families comforted and him helped through the hardest loss of his life<br>. It's because of their kindness and love that I know everyday that my dad is in great hands and he is receiving the very best care possible.<br><br>You will find Heart & Hand a warm and loving home from the moment you walk in the door. They are skilled nurses and caregivers with big beautiful hearts of love and compassion who will care deeply for your loved ones.<br><br>I am forever grateful to Heart & Hand.

This is a beautiful adult family home that was recently built and is run by a great professional staff that is very caring and compassionate and it feels just like home!<br>They engage the residents in fun activities and the food they prepare is fresh, nutritious and enjoyed by all.<br>It’s a home that you walk into as a stranger but walk out as a friend and part of the family.<br>It’s an awesome place!

We absolutely love Heart and Hand. Our mother was down to 80 pounds and was struggling to get three nutritional meals a day before she moved to Heart and Hand. Since she has been at Hand and Heart she has gained weight, is more alert, and loves being there. The intergenerational opportunities feeds her soul. It feels like a home…like family. There is individualized care that is phenomenal, home cooked meals and a responsive staff. We feel so blessed and fortunate that we found Heart and Hand.
