I came here today which it is Valentine's Day February the 14th 2026 I came from St Francis North I had total knee replacement and this was supposed to be my aftercare for rehabilitation and to build an exercise my knee. I got here by ambulance at 3:00 today The paramedics put me in the room nobody help me get a situated. nobody came to the room I have major pain and part of the recover is not to let the pain get out of control. so an hour ago I googled the facility and I called and talked to Heather and she told me that Tim was trying to get my medication I explained to her that if my pain got out of control. that it would go all bad She told me that Tim was trying to get my meds from where I don't know I've been in this room I can't walk I have an ice machine that needs ice there is no one that comes when I push the call light. this is a terrible terrible place and it's sad that I'm going to have to leave here tonight now it's 7:01 p.m. on Valentine's Day. And I just wonder everybody know that this place is a joke not to mention it's filthy dirty I had pajama pants on was walking around in here and the whole bottoms of them are dirty while I was trying to walk around The bathroom is one big room and you can see the filth on the floor the walls the toilet the sink is disgusting. My aunt was here in 2021 at that time the place was very clean and I was worried about it anyway she had Alzheimer's and it wasn't that bad so when they told me I was going to southpoint I thought well that's okay. it's not okay this is terrible they served me a can you could tell it was canned ravioli and I think it was garlic toast The milk was about to spoil and some lemonade not a healthy diet for people that are in here that are elderly I myself am 66 years old and had total knee replacement and I'm in great pain I don't even know I don't even know what to say anymore this is just disgusting and that's being nice

My mother has had spine, hip, and ankle surgery to recover from a car wreck from long ago. She's been in and out of hospitals and rehab off and on for years, and they sent her here recently since she had gotten weak following a stint in the hospital with infections. While she was there, they threatened to take her off of pain medicine, gave her antibiotics late every day after she begged them multiple times to give it to her at 5pm like the doctor ordered. They never gave it to her at the designated time. Instead, the nurses and technicians continued to go hours at a time without doing anything, my mother would call me crying saying that they ignored her. They have a fuction where a patient can only call once, the call button stops working after one click. The patient has to listen to it beep until they come to check on them. But, they'd take an hour just to see what my mom needed. What if she had fallen?

My mom was supposed to get rehab here, but she came home weaker than she was when she was sentenced here. I'm sorry, I mean sent here. The whole time she was there, she got between 15 to 30 minutes of rehab per day. In two weeks, they gave her one shower. She was forced to urnitate on herself because they took too long to respond to her asking for help. The other 23 hours of the day she was laying in bed, getting weaker.

If I had an enemy, I would recommend this place.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Southpointe healthcare. From the moment we walked in, the staff made our family feel welcome and reassured. They treat residents with genuine kindness, patience, and respect. My mother has received excellent medical attention, but just as important, they’ve been surrounded by warmth and companionship every day. The facility is clean, organized, and comfortable, and there are always engaging activities that keep residents active and involved. Communication with families is also outstanding—they keep us updated regularly and are always available to answer questions. It gives our family such peace of mind knowing our loved one is in a place where people truly care. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment for their loved one!
