When we heard my father needed intensive nursing care, we were saddened to have to move him, yet again, to another assisted living facility. Shady Oaks was recommended to us, and after our first visit with Tyson, I knew it was the right place for my father. We were naturally hesitant- how could it possibly be this good?!- given the disappointments we had experienced at previous assisted living homes; sadly the care always left a lot to be desired. Shady Oaks has given us peace of mind that my father will be cared for in the most compassionate and loving manner. I sleep well at night knowing that the staff is there for him, and that his well being is a priority. The Aides working with my father are incredible! So attentive, kind and patient, and always welcoming to us. The nurses are top notch- knowledgeable, dependable and there for the entire family. Tyson has created a special place at Shady Oaks- surpassing every other experience we’ve had in the Farmington Valley. I highly recommend this facility, and I’m so incredibly thankful for the continued love and support they provide my father, and my family. Having a loved one with so many needs is not easy, but Shady Oaks has been a blessing. And yes- it is that good!

Shady Oaks in Bristol Ct is a hidden gem. It is an exceptional Assisted Living my Uncle has been residing here since the fall of 2024. We moved from another residence and wish we sought out Shady Oaks first. Tyson and all the staff are outstanding. They show each day how much they love the residents. Each employee is exceptional and constantly go above and beyond. You will not find Nursing and a care team staff anywhere as you will find here. Communication and care are key and Shady Oaks has it all! You will fall in love with the staff. We are comforted that our Uncle is here and reassured he is receiving exceptional care each day, each shift. This is truly a gem in Bristol,Ct. My Uncle is happy and thriving. We are grateful for Tyson, the owner and tremendous staff. You will not regret your decision for one minute.

My husband was at Shady Oaks for less than a week before he passed away. I can't begin to explain what tremendous care he received while there. Not only was he well taken care of, but the owner, Tyson, and all the staff were so kind and caring to me as well. This is definitely a unique place with such a loving atmosphere. Everyone went above and beyond to help us during my husband's last days.

What a wonderful facility! The staff at this facility truly care about every single resident and it all starts at the top with their management. They are all compassionate professionals who make sure all of their residents needs are met. Shady Oaks staff has provided our family with peace and comfort know our family member is in good hands. We are so grateful for their dedicated service to their patients.

Over the top AMAZING place for my Dad!!! Loved everyone there and Tyson was phenomenal to work with. He even attended my dad’s funeral. So heartwarming ❤️. Ty Shady Oaks for EVERYTHING! Highly recommended!
