My brother was admitted to this facility, and after his discharge, Mary maintained regular communication with me, consistently inquiring about his well-being. If he had completed his medication regimen, Mary would verify if he had received any contact from the in-home care providers. It was a pleasure to collaborate with Mary.

My father was a resident at Village Green after having a laryngectomy, and I cannot say enough good things about the care he received. The respiratory team was outstanding. They were knowledgeable, attentive, and made sure he was well cared for every step of the way. The staff at Village Green was also wonderful. They were kind, respectful, and compassionate, and they treated my father with dignity during a very difficult time. The facility was clean, welcoming, and well-run, and we always felt that he was in good hands. I am very thankful for the respiratory team and all of the staff at Village Green for the excellent care they provided. I would highly recommend them to any family looking for a caring and professional facility for their loved one.

I am very pleased with how my mother in law’s care has improved with the new ownership. It has been a much more pleasant time visiting her in recent months. I want to also give credit to the right people. The new director has shown a great deal of compassion in fixing this home which I am very appreciative for. I also want to thank Aj and Shamika in recreation, they are the bones of keeping clients engaged and happy. Shirley is an amazing aide and has been with my mother in law for years! Amanda in the kitchen always makes sure to chat quickly with the residents instead of just taking their food order, which allows for the residents to have some company. She is always happy and bubbly making residents enjoy her company. Adriana has also been an amazing resource as one of the social workers. Lastly Maryann has always been attentive and has called me any time there has been a health concern in regards to wounds etc. I removed my past review and photos due to the fact that I am seeing great improvements.

This nursing facility is clean with friendly staff. The front desk receptionists are one of kind. They are both very warm and welcoming. It's always a pleasure to come in and they greet you with warm smiles and wish you well on your departure. The nursing department does a fair job at updating you regarding your family member and keeping you informed. They do hear you when you advocate for your person. Speak up and they make adjustments accordingly. Comforting nursing home.

I visited an elderly Uncle today at Village Green Rehab in Forestville CT. It was my first visit to this facility. I have been to several others in the local area over the last decade or so. I was impressed with the friendliness of the young lady at the front desk and the state of the art check in / check out system. On my way to my Uncle's room I noted the tidiness of the halls, and what looked to be a very inviting cafeteria. Arriving at the room, the floor was being cleaned. My impression of the room was that it was spacious and well maintained. Pleasant, homey atmosphere rather than a clinical hospital room. Only my first impression, but it seemed nice.
