This is the first time I’ve been there since the new owners acquired Sheridan Woods. It was much brighter, cleaner, and well staffed. It was a big improvement.

Terrible I got there at 6 PM. They checked me in. I asked for water. They said we’ll be right back. They came back. No water asked for water again. They left didn’t come back until midnight after I rang the bell because I was in so much pain I finally got water. I asked for a pain pill And an hour and eight minutes later they showed up with the pain pill I went in for knee replacement no way checked on me. I go to the bathroom. The toilet seat is broken. I sit down almost fall. I sit up fix the toilet seat position look over there. There’s no toilet paper the toilet paper holders missing the center Shaft. I have to get back up. Go over to the shelf and get a roll of toilet paper after I was done, I rang the bell mention it to the nurse and this is Saturday they said the maintenance will be on Monday to fix it. I had to get remitted into Bristol Hospital because of pain they thought I was really coming back. I can’t believe this facility is still open. I looked at the reviews. They were horrible. I don’t know if I’m just wasting my time by posting this. Do not bring anybody here.

Jessica's story sounds soo similar to what I'm going through just trying to get my dad into this place. It's been over 3 wks now that my dad's social worker has been trying to get a hold of Emily at Sheridan Woods to get him into one of there empty beds. She's never returned any calls texts nor emails. And is always in a meeting. It's clear that these people do not care about the elderly. They don't not want nor will get business because of their laziness. It's people and businesses like these who give nursing home a bad name.

I give this place a one star! I was homeless and going through a deep depression and am fully disabled. The place had me waiting for two weeks shared all my health issues and also changed my insurance too. So I could get in. I waited two weeks more, than I should, homeless when I could have taken the other bed that was offered to me. They strung me along and gave me false hope! The social worker there is horrible and doesn’t do her job. Many people complain about her but nothing gets done! Many people who had money follows the people lost their apartments due to the social worker not doing her part. Staff lie and make false rumors about you, some even pull their shirts up and flash you in your room. Sexual harassment!! For ppl on diabetic diets they do not help with healthy eating. They followed and stalked me when I was with my friend on day trips. This place is more than ridiculous. I ended up in a wwwaaayy better place! The drama and gossip was not for me!!! Way to many staff hanging around gossiping and getting to personal in peoples family lives then doing their job! And they don’t follow hippa your family will be told everything even if you don’t want them to know! Don’t tell them anything.
