We recently lost my wife’s father. He spent his last days at Serene Unity Home Care. I met the primary caregivers, Tim and his wife Rachel. Losing a family member is sad no matter what; but the kindness of Tim and Rachel made a hard and inevitable situation into the very best thing it could be. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust them. I wouldn’t hesitate to put a loved one into their care. I wouldn’t hesitate, were it my time, to put myself into their care. These are good people. This is a good place.

A Life-Changing Experience — We Are Forever Grateful to Tim, Rachel, and Their Incredible Team It’s hard to put into words just how much Tim, Rachel, and their team have meant to our family. When our mom first moved into their care, our entire family was overwhelmed and heartbroken. She had been dealing with a long list of health issues, and it had reached a point where we truly believed this was the end. She couldn’t walk, she wasn’t eating, and her condition was deteriorating rapidly. We had exhausted our options, and emotionally, we were preparing ourselves to say goodbye. From the very beginning, Tim was a consistent and compassionate communicator. He updated us regularly on every detail of our mom’s condition — whether there was a slight improvement or a new concern. In a time filled with anxiety and helplessness, his updates gave us peace of mind and helped us stay connected to what was happening, even from afar. But what none of us expected — not even remotely — was that things would start to turn around. Instead of declining as we had feared, our mom began to improve. Slowly at first, but then more noticeably. Her appetite came back. Her strength returned. And over time, she regained the ability to walk again. She became more alert, more engaged, and more like herself again. It wasn’t just the medical care that made the difference — it was the environment, the compassion, and the genuine commitment from Tim, Rachel, and every single person on their team. They treated our mom with dignity, patience, and respect, every single day. You could feel the love and care in everything they did — from the way they spoke to her, to how they supported our family through every step. After months of dedicated care, our mom reached a place we never thought was possible. She became fully independent again. And today, she is in California with family, living a full and happy life. She’s thriving. She laughs again, she enjoys her meals, she takes walks — all the little things that had seemed lost forever have returned. And it's all thanks to Tim, Rachel, and their extraordinary team. We will never forget what they did for our mom — and for all of us. They gave her a second chance at life, and they gave us more precious time with someone we thought we were losing. That kind of impact is immeasurable.
