I had a brief experience with Royal Oaks because mom passed before she moved in, but everyone I came in contact with was friendly and helpful and were very helpful in the enrollment process. They were also great at getting back to me when I had questions. Positive staff!

My mother was in the facility for over a year in long term care. The stay started out great but as it changed to Royal Oaks the level of extreme decline in care for residents is horrific. Staff mistreating residents, inability to address care concerns, frequent med mistakes, falls that aren't reported correctly. The list goes on. My mother suffered at the hand of their mismanagement. We finally had to move her to another facility and she is thriving. Do not chose this home unless significant improvements are made!

My gma was there for a few years. It was awful. I often found her in cold urine soaked clothing. Her room always smelled like urine. I would change her sheets that would have multiple stains of urine weekly. Never once did she have fresh water in her room. I usually came twice a week at different times. They did not follow up on doctors orders and then tried to cover it up. I had to advocate continously for follow up and labs. I eventually moved her as nothing seemed to change. Her last year's of life were diminished by lack of care, compassion and follow up.

My experience with Royal Oaks was brief, but seamless. The hospital gave very little notice to move mom and Royal Oaks was quick and took care of so much of the administrative aspects of getting mom from the hospital to Royal Oaks. Mom was only there for a short time, but everyone I spoke with was responsive and understanding. I am so grateful for all they have done for my family.

My family member was in rehab and although the entire staff was exceptional. There's a lady who works in housekeeping by the name Daylynn (I don't know if I spelled this correctly) I wanted her to know she has been recognized, she was so kind to my family and made sure my family member was comfortable and his room was spotless. Thank you Royal Oaks and thank you to the housekeeper who always made my family smile
