As soon as you walk in, you are hit with a strong smell of urine. Walking down the hallways it’s a thick aroma of urine.. there was a lady mopping, but it smelt like they mopped the whole facility with that same bucket of urine water daily. My heart felt so bad for the residence here. My family member told me that there are some good nurses and some not so good 🥺

I am surprisingly impressed with this facility. I find it clean and pleasant to visit. I'm impressed with the competence of the staff and the genuine care they show for the residents. They are extremely responsive to the needs of the individual residents. The OT and PT staff are very thorough and persuasive without being abrasive. They are respectful of limitations yet kind in encouraging the residents to put in the effort required. The front desk staff are very polite and helpful, taking the time to treat people as individuals and friends, showing genuine interest. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is in need and will show respect to those who are helping them. The staff are very busy, but will help with anything that they can, but one must be patient and respectful. These caregivers deserve that at a minimum.

This place is just awful all around. The staff doesn’t not take care of your loved ones. They have no clue how to take care dementia patients. My father in law suffered for the short time he was in this facility. Luckily we were able to get him out and into a great facility. My father in law who needed help eating would be left with his food tray push up against the wall or just out of reach so he couldn’t eat. This happened multiple times. They left him soiled and used the excuse that family was visiting him and didn’t want to disturb us. And when we would call for help to get him changed it often almost an hour before anyone came . Genesis is the worst of the worst. They treated all the patients terribly. The nurses gathered around the desk gabbing and gossiping ignoring the call buttons flashing . This place is hell on earth . Do not trust this staff with your loved ones I implore you. Also the review I did before was removed somehow.

We were grateful to have met such dedicated individuals working here. Although we didn’t stay overnight, and the visit only lasted a few hours, our mom was treated with kindness and dignity. Special thanks to Bob the RN for providing valuable information and taking the time to get to know our mom and here needs. The CNA assigned to her in room 105 was very friendly and knowledgeable. Darlene at the front desk made us feel very welcome. Thank you 🙏🏼

I've heard many stories of this place but all I saw looked good. I'm not a patient or a client but was running errands for a patient. I was greeted by friendly faces (management) & that was where I had my business. I did see several care nurses pass by me & not speak a word & basically looked like they were hating life. Thankfully I ran into others that did care & they took care of my needs. Place looked good to me.
