Despite a previous review which is completely false in every sense of the word, this place has been great for our mother. They have been in full communication with myself and wife as we are the only 2 that are the D.P.O.A.. the only meds given were those that were necessary and discussed with me. There has never been any issues with staff or attentiveness and care. The previous statements made in a review are from a disgruntled and ill minded miserable person that has nothing better to do than cause problems. Information they claim to have is completely false in all regards. I would highly recommend this place for care and it has been a blessing to have mom receive the care that is needed and provided by this facility.

I spent almost a month at Ridgewood Center due to complications with knee surgery. Nurses and LNA staff, Outstanding, Very attentive Food, you do not go to a Nursing facility and expect a 5 Star meal. I found the food very acceptable. PT/OT, Excellent, I gave them 3 goals when I arrived and they greatly exceeded my expectations. I would definately recommend this facility should you need rehab.

My sister was admitted a short time ago. I’ve read these reviews and now I’m scared! I couldn’t go with her when she was admitted. I tried to call the facility 7x before reaching a nurse who could help me check on my sister. Not a good start for sure. Are they that short-staffed? I hope this is not an indication of how her future will be, cleanliness wise, standard of care, food, any of these complaints.

Rehab services excellent until last 2 weeks when a PT left. Nurses aides were excellent especially Bianca and Kefeya. Food was atrocious. My swallowing restrictions on menus and sent food it clearly stated I could not eat. Cereal often stale, food arrived cold and if heated often time inedible. Listen at resident meeting but nothing changes. My wife sent food in and ate mostly sandwiches and could not always get them right. Feel sorry for folks who cannot advocate for them selves. My wife did most of discharge planning and the last day didn't get the care I was suppose to like wrapping my legs with aces. Nurses inconsistent but if not for the aides and therapists, would not have improved.

I just checked my wife in a few hours ago and we are both so impressed. The facility is very secure. The building is well kept but the best part of Ridgewood, is the staff! What a great group of people. My wife needed quite a bit of help to get settled in, but they all helped her get everything she needed and did it with welcoming smiles and patience. Dinner was very nice. We weren’t here in time to order dinner, but they knew she was coming and had a dinner ready for her, so she didn’t go hungry. Just super thoughtful.
