very disappointed in the care received from the nursing unit manager on the frost floor and because of that i would not recommend. they could use a seminar on compassion and how to handle next steps if they believe a patient does not have the ability to recover and yes my dad was given a bed in the rehab wing. in addition, keep an eye on your family if they are being evaluated for an aspiration risk make sure they proactively put them on an aspiration pureed diet don't let them continue eating a regular diet until results, it might be too late to recover. Im not sure who should have addressed that but i never heard back from the nursing supervisor whom i spoke too about it back on Friday 4/29/26 guess i didn't realize what Monday she meant about calling me to follow up i hope she addressed it, so others won't suffer the same outcome my dad did.

I recently moved my mom from a memory care facility to Bedford Hills Center. I have no words to explain what a true blessing this has been for both she and myself. From the first phone call I made to the facility everyone has been so helpful! Everyone has my mom's needs as their top priority. Everyone goes above and beyond to help me and answer any questions that I have had about the whole process etc. The caregivers are compassionate, attentive, thorough and have gone above and beyond to make sure my mom settled in well. What a blessing this has been. I am so grateful that my mom is a resident at Bedford Hills and I am so thankful for all they have done and continue to do for both she and I.

Selecting a care facility for a loved one is a difficult and daunting process. You read reviews and they are all over the map. Bottom line is that you don't really know until you make that decision and live through it personally. We chose Bedford Hills for Mom's rehab and we can't imagine that there would have been a better choice. The staff was attentive and caring, always showing compassion for Mom as well as our entire family whenever we visited, and we visited a lot! They quickly established and fostered a relationship with her that accelerated her progress. They truly focus on the details and nurses like Nicole G make all the difference in the world. Thank you all so much for taking such good care of Mom!

As the daughter of a patient who stayed at Bedford Hills Center from 2/10/26-3/30/26, I want to share my heartfelt gratitude for the care my mother received at Bedford Hills Center after her stay at Elliot Hospital. When she first arrived, she was very weak and needed a lot of support with daily tasks and walking. Our main hope was for her to regain strength and independence so she could return home, and the staff here truly went above and beyond to make that possible. Their encouragement and attentive care helped my mother steadily become more independent and confident in her abilities. The staff and other patients quickly became a wonderful support network for her, creating a warm, welcoming environment that meant so much to our family. I especially want to thank Nicole, nurse and Kim, LNA who were incredibly dedicated and attentive throughout my mother’s stay. Their compassion and commitment made each day brighter and helped her feel safe and cared for. Leslie, OT, and Kristen, PTA, were also wonderful in assisting my mom to get stronger, always encouraging her and providing expert guidance. In addition, I am truly grateful for Stephanie in social services, Amanda the unit manager, and Erica, NP, whose support was invaluable, especially during the times when I was stressed about having my mom at a facility. Their understanding and assistance made the experience easier for both of us, and I sincerely appreciate their kindness and professionalism. As her discharge date approached, I felt so grateful for the compassionate care she received. The nurses and therapists were outstanding, always offering support and kindness. Leaving Bedford Hills, my mom felt stronger, more confident, and hopeful for the future. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs skilled nursing. The dedication, support, and kindness here made all the difference in her recovery.

Our family cannot say enough wonderful things about this nursing home and the care they provided to my grandmother. From the moment she arrived, she was treated with kindness, respect, and genuine compassion. She truly loved the nurses who cared for her every day, and they clearly loved her right back. The staff took the time to get to know her as a person, not just a resident, which meant the world to our family. She also adored the maintenance staff, who always made her smile and helped her feel comfortable and at home. The activities were another highlight--she looked forward to them, stayed engaged, and found so much joy in participating. It gave her purpose, routine, and happiness. Knowing she was safe, cared for, and genuinely happy brought our family incredible peace of mind. We will always be deeply grateful for the love, dedication, and humanity shown to my grandmother. This facility will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
