Choosing an assisted living facility for my mom was overwhelming, but thank God we found the Residence Club and Marylin who made it so easy. Marylin’s honesty, loyalty and devotion for each resident is truly amazing. We have such peace of mind knowing my mother is safe and well taken care of.

I chose this place for my frail 88 year old mother because it is small and not run as a huge soulless corporation or institution. The owner-operators are a wonderful live-in married couple with decades of experience as licensed nursing professionals and senior care specialists supported by excellent trained staff. Marilyn is very kind, caring and friendly. Silva is an excellent cook. My mom is a picky eater, but she loves the food here. The place is quiet, secluded, safe and clean. I give it my very highest recommendation.

My DIL has worked in the St. Petersburg, FL area as a Nurse Practitioner in elder care for the past several years. She has visited 90% of the facilities offering long term care. When it came time for us to seek extra care for our 95 year old Mother, she said there is only one place for her, Residence Club at Seminole. After a drop in visit we had to agree. Marilyn was most gracious, explaining what was available for our Mom in terms of care and comfort. When Mom moved in two months ago, she was just out of rehab and essentially bedridden, requiring 24/7 care for feeding and toileting. She is now back to normal for the most part, up and moving about in a wheel chair, feeding herself in the dining room with other residents and requiring much less care than before. The best part is that she still has 24/7 care since Marilyn and her staff are always close by and attentive. Mom has adjusted well because the staff is like a family and include her, not "talk over or at her". Silver, the co-owner and chef, makes home cooked meals everyday in the central kitchen. I credit much of Mom's recovery to the excellent, nutritious food he makes. He also jokes with her and they have developed a strong friendship which makes her feel accepted and welcomed in their home. We are extremely pleased with the care Mom receives, the cleanliness of the space and of her, and the constant attention to the residents provided by the very efficient staff. I assisted my brother in law in finding the Residence Club as his primary residence and have been very pleased. We were not sure if he could manage an ALF after numerous hospitalizations and rehab stays and thought that he might be seen as a nursing home candidate. However, Marilyn had us visit and thought that she could help my BIL stabilize and gave him a room closest to their areas of activity. Long story short, for the last year and a half he has flourished, has a nice clean private room in a well run and clean facililty! Thank you Marilyn and Team!

Highly recommend The Residence Club. The owners Marilyn and her husband are wonderful. My Dad has lived there 6 months and Marilyn takes excellent care of him. He’s showered everyday, meds managed, feed, laundry done, he’s in fresh clothes everyday, shaved. Marilyn truly cares about her residents, she knows my Dad loves church and she brings him with her every Sunday. Marilyn is also a nurse, as am I, her knowledge and care gives me such peace of mind.
