We were cautious about moving out of our home of 50 years, knowing this would be our final move. Every detail of our move was made easier with the help of the fantastic marketing team, we should have moved in 5 years ago! We are enjoying our new home, new friends, multiple activities, and all the special services available to us. Freedom Square was a perfect choice for this phase of our lives.

Freedom Square provides a warm, welcoming environment with nicely maintained grounds and what seems to be a deeply compassionate, attentive staff.<br><br>I would be happy to live there. Cleanliness & Friendliness are the two most important things for Senior Living.

My wife and I moved here in April 2026. I wish we would have done it four years ago when I was 62 and eligible. The maintenance-free lifestyle has given me such peace of mind to never worry about a repair again! They told me not to bring a hammer or screwdriver that I wouldn’t need it. They even have weekly maid service, they supply towels and remake the beds as well. The only bill we have besides our monthly fee is our cell phones.<br>And the food…WOW. The menu changes weekly. There are 7-8 entrees and many sides. Soups change daily. Wine is served gratis on Sunday. The Chef is top notch and they want feedback on what we want to see on the menu.<br>The dining room is gorgeous and everyone we invite to come here says it feels like eating in the dining room of a cruise ship.<br>The LifeCare contract has given us peace of mind that as we age we are guaranteed care here at this location whether it is assisted living, memory care or skilled nursing. Also, when something happens with one of us the other will be supported by the Freedom Square community and systems in place.<br>They offer free transportation all over Pinellas County and take regular trips to the grocery store, pharmacy, mall, etc.<br>I wondered how I would do with the activities here because I’m only 66. Well, they are so varied and everyone has been so welcoming. My wife and I enjoy the fitness centers, large indoor pool and hot tub, we have a plot in the community garden, I work in the wood shop on my creations. We sit outside by the bird sanctuary then head over to the Black Swan bar and grill which is open early for breakfast and into the evening. They provide four charging stations for electric vehicles onsite. Right across the street is the Seminole City Center that has monthly concerts, car shows and other events besides restaurants/bars, movie theatre and shops. We also enjoy the many performing groups that come to Freedom Square. The monthly trips to the Casino in Tampa.<br><br>Our apartment is HUGE with all the modern amenities…new kitchen, bathroom, flooring, paint, etc. We have a beautiful lanai off the living room where we enjoy sunsets.<br><br>The process to move in could not have been made any easier. The marketing staff held our hands from start to finish making the move from our condos into Freedom Square as painless as possible. They stocked our fridge with food and drinks, brought by flowers. I just can’t say enough about their level of kindness and efficiency!<br>The executive director is on a first name basis with the residents and is accessible any time even by cellphone should you need to speak with him.<br>The move here has been a game changer for us. Best decision we ever made!!

Reading the glowing reviews, they are written by the families, not by residents. My daughters would write exactly the same. It's been nearly a year since I left. While the units were being repaired from damage from the hurricane, I was sent for three weeks to a beach hotel. For me, not a vacation. Upon my return, I reported about the things stolen by those working in my unit. Nothing was done, nor investigated. I was blown off. Today, I looked for my pearl earings, which I didn't wear often. They are gone. Gone with my fur vest, Sargadelo vase (exquisite Spanish porcelain) silver forks, and many other small items. When is this going to stop? I planned to dress up for a very special occasion this weekend. Without a vehicle to get more nor enough money to pay for them . . . . Others, at that time, shared with me things taken while they were away, but were too afraid to say anything. Freedom Square, to me, is a haven for a nest of blue-vested thieves. Oh, I am livid. You may see me at the function in a beautiful French designer dress my daughter sent me, long, 80-count pearl necklace, no pearl earrings.

Definitely a five star experience! My mom loved the campus, the dining & more importantly the wonderful & caring staff! Sadly she passed but I know her last few years were enjoyable! I also became friends with staff & look forward to visiting from time to time!<br><br>Btw, the wellness center/ nurses were incredible & compassionate! I would totally recommend Freedom Square! TY
