My wife was sent to this rehab facility, her stay lasted about 5 hrs. After reviewing her medication list I found that several of her medications were being stopped most importantly her ambien which she needs for sleep. She's been taking it for 30 years so it is a must in order for her to sleep. They contacted the doctor who refused to even allow it temporary since this was on a Saturday. I had high hopes for my wife to get som physical therapy here but after dealing with their policies of discontinuing your medication by the the doctor who she never met nor his he a psychiatrist who wasn't coming until Monday. I would rate a zero if I could. So I signed her out and took her home. 2 hrs later the Sheriff's Department comes knocking on my door and they had to do a welfare check on my wife who was sleeping because the rehab called them and said I took her out. The nurses were nice however higher ups in charge were pissed that I took her out after just 5 Hrs. Be aware they will discontinue your medication at will.

I not only have the pleasure of working with this beautiful community, I have referred friends loved ones for rehab services in their skilled nursing center. They provide quality care with very high customer service. I would highly recommend Freedom Square for your skilled nursing needs!

My mother was her after an outpatient surgery. She needed a little extra help to make sure she could come home. This place was an absolute nightmare! My mom did not have a shower for 5 days even after we both had requested that she get one on multiple occasions. I had to wash my mom's hair in a bowl that came with her lunch. It took over 4 hours to get an ice pack. When she asked for help, she got the "it's not my job" answer from whoever responded to her call light hours later. The case worker was not reachable for days. Until I complained. They were trying to keep her for 3 weeks. (I'm assuming to get more money from her insurance) My mom was better after 4 days and no need to stay longer. Please do not take your loved ones here! Most of the employees stand on their phones in the hallway while the call lights are going off.

My wife transferred here from hospital stay about 7pm Friday night 6/21/24. At 4 am that morning she called me in tears and said she couldn’t stay there. She had a terrible headache and pushed her call button. No response for an hour. She then got out of bed and found a worker in the hall and requested the tylenol and she never got it. Also found out she did not get any of her bedtime medications that evening. Also very noisy from patients and staff all night. I went over early morning to get her and found they had 9 covid cases on that floor. My wife has interstitial lung disease and if she got covid would be very serious. I met with management at 9 am. They were very apologetic, but I bought her home. Very hard to find a great nursing home or rehab anymore . I’ve been through this with my mom and other elderly relatives in NJ. Just be very careful where you place your loved ones.

My father recently moved into Freedom Square. I went to visit him last month. The staff was very helpful and dropped anything to help answer any of my questions. A huge shout-out to Sales/Marketing Manager Eric Kane. He made sure I had all questions answered and all contacts needed. He seems to work 24/7. His proactive and super positive approach does not go unnoticed. Sara (physical therapist) has been very helpful in communicating how my dad’s PT is going and how he is fitting in, in general. There was a recent mix up in my father’s health situation, but the nurses have done a good job in resolving the issue and keeping me in the loop even with the challenges of living cross country. Thank you all for all your time and efforts in helping my father. It is comforting beyond words knowing that he is in good care.
