My mother came to Peak for rehab. The nurses and staff were awesome! She received PT, OT and ST by knowledgeable and kind therapists. Mom received excellent care by everyone there. She really enjoyed the crafts and fun things that the two activity directors had everyday scheduled. Mom really enjoyed having her fingernails painted and the visit with exotic animals but mostly the sweet residents that live there full time. It made her day when they would call out “Jane come sit beside me”. They truly made it fun and interesting…so much so mom wanted to stay instead of going back home! If she would not had to move from the 200 hall or share a room she would still be there as a permanent resident. My family and I highly recommend Peak of Gastonia to anyone searching for rehab therapy for their loved ones just be careful they may want to stay. Thank you all!

My husband’s two week rehab stay was an exceptional experience. The facility is spotless. His room was a comfortable size. He enjoyed every meal. The most important aspect was the excellent care he received from the physical, occupational and speech therapists as well each and every member of the nursing staff. I never worried once about the care and attention he was receiving. When I learned he was going to Peak, I made an unannounced visit and was warmly welcomed and eagerly offered a tour of the facility. My husband’s rehab stay was a five star experience!

Don't put your loved ones here..no decency to patients or family. My mother treated terribly. I call the Director of nursing with a concern, she never answers, or calls back. And the office manager is same way ..NA 's rude and very few .

I can't say enough great things about this nursing home. I live two states away and they keep me informed constantly. I have another relative in another place and I get NO information about his life, socializations, why he is being moved, nada. I count myself blessed that these caring people work with my cousin. Bless you!

One of the best places. They are so loving to everyone, they love their jobs and are happy to be there. I never worry about my Mother when I'm not there, I know she is well cared for. Thank you Peak Resourses for taking such great care of my Mom. Charlene Hargett
