My dad was there for a few days daytime nurses Katelyn and Rachel were absolutely amazing went above and beyond for my dad they treated him as if he was family but them night time nurses and staff were horrible to my dad.

I genuinely don’t even know where to begin when it comes to expressing how incredible the staff at Parkside are—but I’m going to try anyway because they deserve ALL the recognition and more. Katelyn and Rachel are not just nurses… they are absolute angels walking this earth. The level of compassion, patience, and dedication they show every single day is something you don’t come across often. They don’t just do their jobs—they pour their hearts into every resident they care for. You can see it in the way they speak, the way they listen, and the way they go above and beyond without hesitation. They make people feel safe, valued, and truly cared for in a way that is so rare and so special. And Katherine—what an absolute ROCKSTAR. As an STNA, she brings an energy and warmth that lights up the entire place. Her kindness is unmatched, her work ethic is inspiring, and the genuine love she shows to residents is something that cannot be taught—it comes straight from the heart. She treats everyone with dignity, respect, and a level of care that goes far beyond expectations. Together, this team creates an environment that feels less like a facility and more like a family. It’s comforting to know that there are people like them in this world—people who choose to care so deeply, who show up every day ready to make a difference, and who truly change lives. Parkside is beyond lucky to have Katelyn, Rachel, and Katherine. They are the definition of excellence, compassion, and heart. If I could give a million stars, I would—because they have more than earned it.

Absolutely the worst place. The way they treated my sister was beyond terrible. If you love your family member DO NOT let them go here. The nurse my sister had for two days should never be allowed to work with people. I honestly cannot believe how horrible it was. She was told she couldn't go to the bathroom because they were too busy. 45 minutes later still busy. Absolutely unacceptable. No wonder she is back in the hospital now.

I don't even want to give it a star. I had an older friend go here for almost a month recently and the whole time she was there never asked her if she wanted a shower until the few nights before she left. She wasn't asked nightly if she wanted a snack or even checked on her if she was ok. She was getting up on. Her. Own. To use the restroom because no one would answer her call button she would wait at least 40 minutes before she decided she just needed to do it on her own. The staff was rude and insisted she wasn't allowed to walk with them even though she said she wanted to walk. If you love someone don't put them here. It engages me thinking about how people are treated there for longer periods.

My mother was at Parkside and they were so kind and caring. The aids treated her with respect and she had a few favorites. They always have something going on to keep the residents feeling like they belonged and we're part of the family. When my mother passed, there were some aides and nurses that shed a few tears. I would recommend this facility. Special thanks to Bree, Carrie and Ricki to name a few.
