This place is horrible I have a family member here and they are not cared for like they should be they don't wash and dress them daily, they don't check and change them in a timely manner and most of the staff is disrespectful to family and residents. Ther is a lot of overturn and agency if you can avoid this place do not bring your loved one here.

Very friendly and professional staff. Caring and understanding of their patients and family. It's the cleanest nursing home my dad has been in for physical therapy.

My dad has been here for about 2 years and it was his 93 birthday. I planned on having a get together with our family to celebrate such a big day. When I got there, I went into the large dinning area and began to set up. Joanie was working and saw me and came up to me with a big smile and asked what we were celebrating. I told her it was my dad’s 93rd birthday and wow that’s awesome then asked me if I wanted to celebrate in another room because there were other rooms that were private and smaller that I could use. Now, this was on a Saturday, not during the week, when everyone is working. She said she was going to get the keys to open both rooms so I could choose the one I wanted. Well, she could not find the keys. I figured that would be the end of it. But no, Joanie said to give her a couple more minutes because she wanted to see if she could find the maintenance person and if not, she was going to reach out to someone (on a weekend) to find out where the keys were. Well, she found the gentleman and he opened the rooms and we were able to celebrate my father’s 93 birthday together in an intimate setting all because Joanie went out of her way to treat me and my family with kindness. She could have ignored us, but she didn’t and she made the day even more special for me because she blessed me and it was unexpected. I want her supervisors to know how warm and kind she was to me and my family. This is the kind of person you hope for when you have a parent in a nursing home. Someone who really cares, someone who isn’t selfish and someone who makes you remember that there are still really good people in the world…and Joanie is one of them. May God always bless you Joanie.

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team at Assumption Village. Making the transition to a care facility is never an easy process, but the staff here has made a world of difference for my mother, Karen. From the very beginning, the level of professionalism and genuine kindness shown by everyone involved has been outstanding. Whether it’s the clinical staff, the administrative team, or the support workers, there is a clear commitment to dignity and comfort that gives our family immense peace of mind. I also want to recognize my wife, Gina, and everyone behind the scenes who worked tirelessly to coordinate this move and ensure Karen has everything she needs. It has truly been a team effort. Thank you to the Assumption Village staff for your patience, your expertise, and for treating my mother with such respect. We are incredibly grateful to have her in such capable hands. Teddy Jr
