I moved my mother from another facility to Otterbein Sunset Village, and it has turned out to be the right choice for her. Amy, the move-in coordinator, was especially helpful and made the transition feel much less overwhelming. She provided clear guidance throughout the process and helped ease the move for both my mother and our family. The care staff has also been wonderful to work with and consistently responsive whenever I have questions or stop by. I feel confident that my mother is in good hands. Overall, I’m grateful for the care my mother is receiving at Otterbein Sunset Village. Moving her was not easy, but the staff has made the process much easier for both my mother and our family. I would recommend Otterbein Sunset Village to others.

Otterbein Sunset Village has made an incredibly profound impact on our family, and I cannot express our gratitude enough. It is an overwhelming experience to place a loved one in a care facility - there are countless unknowns and stressors involved. For our family, Otterbein Sunset Village has met every need. Every member of the staff is kind, professional, and supportive, and our loved one is cared for on every level. From the front desk staff to the administrators, the providers, nursing, marketing, maintenance, etc - all members of the Otterbein community have tended to us and cared for us like family, and it has made all the difference. If I had to summarize in one word what Otterbein has given our family, it would be peace - peace in knowing our loved one is safe, peace in knowing we can finally be family members instead of caregivers, and peace for our loved one who is thriving because he knows he is completely supported and loved in this community. We are extremely thankful for this amazing group of people!

Moving our mom into Otterbein was not an easy decision for our family. It’s an emotional process, and one that comes with a lot of uncertainty. From the very beginning, Amy, the move-in coordinator, went above and beyond for us. She truly jumped through hoops to help make everything come together smoothly. Amy was incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate throughout the entire process. She made sure our mom felt comfortable, but she also made sure we felt supported as a family. Having someone like Amy guide us through something so difficult made all the difference. We are so grateful for her care, professionalism, and heart.

Heather was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. From start to finish, she was helpful, kind, and easy to communicate with. You can tell she takes pride in what she does. I truly appreciate her support and would highly recommend working with her.

Everything about this facility is wonderful. The entire staff is great, the food is delicious, and my private room is homey. I have my own bathroom and shower which is a plus. The halls are quiet, therapy is very good too. I would never hesitate to recommend Otterbein Sunset Village to anyone in need of rehab or even permanent care. I have never felt so comfortable at any other rehab facility. This is the only option for me in the future. I hope they continue to raise the bar above everyone else. They are doing a phenomenal service to Sylvania and Toledo areas.
