About Otterbein Loveland SeniorLife Neighborhood

Otterbein Loveland is a skilled nursing community offering long-term care, rehabilitation, and memory support in Loveland, Ohio. The community operates on a small-house model, with five residential houses that blend into the surrounding neighborhood rather than resembling a traditional institutional setting.

Residents, called elders, occupy private suites within these small houses and share living and dining areas where family-style meals are served. The community emphasizes person-centered care with a higher caregiver-to-elder ratio than traditional nursing homes. A dedicated team of licensed nurses, nursing assistants (Elder Assistants), and therapists provides around-the-clock support, along with physical, speech, and occupational therapy services. The model prioritizes individualized care that respects personal choices and supports both permanent residents and those staying temporarily for post-acute rehabilitation following injury or illness.

Residents are encouraged to personalize their private suites with their own furniture and decor to create a home-like atmosphere. Otterbein Home Health also provides in-home care services for seniors transitioning from the small house residences back to their own homes. Food plays an important role in daily life, with home-cooked meals and special occasions like birthday celebrations and holiday dinners integrated into the community's culture.

Loveland is located in an area encompassing Hamilton, Clermont, and Warren counties and has been designated a Tree City by the National Arbor Day Foundation. The community is accessible off Hamilton Road and is situated near the Little Miami Scenic Trail, a popular cycling destination.

Haley and Diane from house 10 were excellent. Tabbatha and Erin were kind, and answered all of my questions within a timely manner. Will definitely recommend to everyone knowing that my family member was happy and well taken care of.

I can’t say enough good things about this skilled nursing facility! The leadership team is exceptional—always professional, kind, and truly invested in the well-being of residents and their families. The nursing staff and aides go above and beyond every single day, providing compassionate, attentive care that makes such a difference. You can tell they really love what they do. The food is also wonderful—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. It feels more like home-cooked meals than “facility food,” which really adds to the comfort here. Overall, this is a place where residents are treated like family, and it shows in every detail. Highly recommend!

I've been a resident for 4 years. I was not wanting to go into a nursing home but after long discussions with my husband's we decided it was time. I am so happy we decided to come to otterbein Loveland and could not imagine being anywhere else. I have made great friendships with other residents here and the staff has always treated me dignity and respect.

I have resided at otterbein for 3 years and it's an amazing place to live. I'm glad that my kids brought me here. I worked as a nurse for many years prior to retiring and couldn't say enough good things about this facility and the care myself and other residents receive!

I can’t say enough good things about Otterbein Loveland. My mom is so well cared for, and we can really see how much the staff love what they do. The new companion program has been such a blessing — Mom just lights up with the extra attention and one-on-one time. It means the world to our family to see her happy, comfortable, and surrounded by people who truly care. We’re so thankful for everyone there who treats her like their own family.
