Otterbein Middletown is a skilled nursing community offering rehabilitation, long-term care, and memory support in Franklin, Ohio. The community features five small houses, each with private suites, shared spaces, and family-style dining designed to create a home-like environment rather than a traditional institutional setting.
Care is delivered by licensed nurses, nursing assistants called Elder Assistants, and therapists who provide continuous support. The community serves both residents requiring post-hospital rehabilitation and those seeking permanent residence, with therapy services including physical, speech, and occupational therapy. Residents gather for family-style meals and seasonal celebrations, with food playing a central role in daily life. The community emphasizes personalized, individualized care where personal choice drives decisions and support is tailored to each resident's unique needs.
