If I could give Norwood Towers zero stars, I would. Based on my experience, this facility is one of the worst places I have ever encountered. The conditions were unacceptable. I observed what appeared to be roaches and bedbugs, and the rooms and bedding did not seem to be cleaned regularly. The odor throughout the building was overwhelming and concerning. The level of care was extremely disappointing. Call lights often went unanswered, and I witnessed staff members sleeping, playing on their phones, or appearing to ignore residents who needed assistance. Management repeatedly stated that everything was being handled to the best of their ability, but that was not consistent with what I personally observed. I have since reported my concerns to the Ohio Department of Health, Adult Protective Services, and left a message with the Long-Term Care Ombudsman. I will continue to contact the appropriate agencies and advocate for the residents until meaningful changes are made or the facility is held accountable. The people living there deserve safe, clean conditions and compassionate care that preserves their dignity and well-being. I strongly encourage families to thoroughly research this facility, ask questions, make unannounced visits at different times of the day, and advocate aggressively for their loved ones. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Norwood Towers to anyone considering placement for a family member.

One of the most unprofessional nursing homes I’ve ever in my entire life witnessed. These people who work here are extremely ignorant, rude, disgusting human beings! They treat the residents like garbage! They make their residents feel like simple task is ruining there entire day. They leave people in there diapers for hours unattended! A few weeks ago at my store right down the street I had an old lady fall out of her wheelchair in my parking lot with 2 nurses from this nursing home inside my store watching me. They refused to help because “where on break” this place is disgusting and so is everyone in it! I called to complain before and the women who’s apparently head nurse took it upon herself to come to my store with 3 other nurses (which I have recorded) and argue, yell, cuss in my store for me complaining! When residents speak up or there therapist complain for them they get treated worse then the floor we walk on. Please don’t send anyone you care for here!

You can guarantee that Norwood Towers will do [he absolute bare minimum required by law to ensure your care. Call buttons go unanswered. Staff sleeps regularly during shifts. If you're trying to loose weight then this is the place for you. Trays aren't enough to fill a 5 year old much less a grown adult ensuring your days are filled with hunger.
