When my aging parents agreed to live in an assisted living community, I could not imagine that this kind of community and environment existed - it is the best home we could have found for their next stage of living (because I had a spreadsheet and went all around town). After touring, I cried in the business manager's office because I could not believe this place was real. The leadership team has been working together for decades and they foster a team full of kind, compassionate, smart, loving people with so much experience caring for aging adults. They are unique. Morningside is special. The community is filled with beautiful aging adults. There is a warmth from the front desk to the dining room to the activity room (activities in and out of the facility) and onsite rehab services - this is a team who foster a safe and caring environment and build that kind of community for their members every single day.

My father has been here a few years and from what I’m told from my brother the staff was very kind to him and took care of him. Unfortunately we lost him this morning and the staff was sympathetic and kind and said nice things about him. It did get pretty expensive monthly due to all the extra care my father was needing.

I had the opportunity to visit this community this past week and was honored to have been able to witness: quality, competence, and compassionate care. The ED, DHW, department heads, and care staff was simply amazing. This community was filled with happy residents, staff and so well maintained. I highly recommend this community if you have a loved one or friend looking for exceptional care in the Concord area of North Carolina! ♥️

If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will truly be cared for and supported in every way, I can’t recommend Morningside of Concord enough. The community feels like family, and knowing my mom is in such good hands brings our whole family peace of mind.
