My husband and I moved here a year ago and agree it was the right choice for us. It's size is just right. Apartment is spacious, nice view, staff friendly and accommodating, residents welcoming and friendly, and the food delish. We find you can do as much or as little as you like. This is a beautiful place for a parent to live with a variety of residences to match their needs (houses and apartments.) The people who work there are amazing - from the cleaners, maintenance, dining room, office staff, etc. The sense of community is evident at Masonicare and the amount of opportunities offered for the residents is impressive. And, the food is delicious! I am so happy we found this special place.

Masonicare at Chester Village is in a class by itself. You will experience a tone of warmth, caring and genuineness as soon as you walk into the lobby and meet with any of the staff members.<br>Once at Chester Village the pod leaders will meet with you with a review of important information as well as answer any of your questions. They will continue to work with you as long as you wish. Each new resident will be given a resident and staff guide showing individuals pictures with their information. The welcoming committee members will invite you to dine with them in small groups introducing you to other residents in the comfortable setting of the main dining room. Prior to dining there is a “happy hour” 6 days a week where complementary beer, wine and soft drinks are served in an informal setting promoting casual interaction and friendly conversation. The bottom line is that transitions at any age are challenging but Masonicare Chester Village has found and implemented ways to reduce the apprehension and promote resident well-being and success.

Moms been here 14 years, loves the socializing. As kids we love the safety. Quiet, safe, nice people. Small enough to know most people. It been terrific.
