My mother-in-law is at this facility and I have to say the care and compassion she has received has been wonderful. Her CNA, Reena, has been absolutely wonderful. Really, everyone has. Each time I have had a question or concern, everything was handled promptly with compassion and professionalism. Her nurses, PA, and doctor have been attentive. The negative is the food. She came in after the menu was selected and was not able to choose what she would like to eat the first 6 days (so far); however, she was able to request a hamburger or grilled cheese sandwich and today she was given a protein drink because she has not been eating much.

My first impression of life care center of East Ridge was one of relief. Relief that my mother-in-law was in good hands. The education and intake RN was kind and took her time to make sure that we understood all of the paperwork. Additionally, Reena was warm and welcoming, an absolute delight!

My Sister just arrived yesterday evening so I don't have a lot of experience with the facility yet. My initial impression is very good. I found the staff helpful. I feel confident that my Sister will be well taken care of. The facility and campus is beautiful. A suggestion would be some kind of orientation for any family member when their loved one arrives. I know we didn't have any information on what to expect when my Sister arrived. We didn't know how things worked in the facility, and had many questions. The nurses did the best they could, but understandably didn't have all the answers and had other patients to care for and each one is different. This morning we were able to speak with the Unit nurse who was able to help with questions and I am confident that more will be answered throughout the day. It's understandable that families will have lots of questions but they also need to realize that it might take a couple of days to get all the answers.

This facility is the best! The staff are kind, and caring. When something is noted regarding care, it is addressed and managed timely. I have an element of trust in the staff that when a family member is not present appropriate care will continue. I'm so thankful for this beautiful facility, and attention given to my loved one's well being.
