I highly recommend PruitHealth Fort Oglethorp and the level of care they provide. On April 10 2026 I had my dad transfer from Archway transitional care in Macon GA to PruittHealth Fort Oglethorp GA so he can be closer to our family. It is a very decent facility, cleaner, newer floors and better furniture. My dad can not talk, walk, eat or go to bathroom so he has to wear diapers and is bed bound. His food has to be puree. The family is so happy we were able to transfer him to Pruitthealth Fort Olgelthorp so he can be closer to us. Everyone is so nice, friendly and definitely cares about the residents and their job. They keep us well informed about his health status every week. THANK YOU PRUITTHEALTH! I forgot to mention a staff member named Rebecca who has been here she said about 20yrs. She is awesome and really cares about her job as well as the patients. Anytime I come to see my dad and she is working we get to talking. I tend to forget people names so she made an impact on me and my dad for me to remember her name.

As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the receptionist and automatically I knew that this place was going to be just as welcoming and sweet as the receptionist :)

They have some very caring people there, but I believe some not so much. My husband who has Alzheimer's fell and broke his hip there and I understand he could have done that anywhere else, but when I called to check on him they didn't tell me he was in excruciating pain. Said he was sleeping peacefully. Then I called before going there and they said he was going up and down the hall in a wheelchair. That was not true. When I got there he was lying in bed in so much pain wearing the same shirt I sent him there in 3 days earlier. He was so thirsty I'm not sure hef had anything to drink in a while , not sure if he had eaten anything.. When he left our home, he was eating by himself, walking and could comprehend some things. When we got there, he couldn't do any of those things probably because of the fall. Very disappointed in my choice to send him there.
