Been a patient/resident here for a couple of weeks now, so far. The therapy (instructors, equipment, etc.) is good. The food is (surprisingly) good. No sign of any physical abuse anywhere, that I'm aware of. I'm fairly sure that they are understaffed, like so many other similar facilities. But with very few exceptions, I'm very frustrated and not happy because consideration for meeting my needs (mostly non-medical) while in patient care--whether understaffed or not, there's just no excuse for--well, let's just say, what I'd like to say would be LONG, and you DEFINITELY would not like what you read. I must leave it at that.

I had to make the hard decision to put my 93 year old Mawmaw in a facility last August 2026. From day one everyone was so good to my little mawmaw. The nurses and CNAs worked hard to take care of her as well as the hospice team. I was there a lot. Everyday, every other day most of the time. They care for these patients. They comfort them, feed them, give then their meds. Absolutely wonderful people with big hearts doing an amazing job. They loved my Mawmaw so much and we did the staff there. Shout out to Alex,,, his heart is so big. As my Mawmaw was in her last few days of life he came in on his own off day and sat with us for about 4 hours. That's someone who cares. Brooke, Ashley,vCindy, absolutely amazing. You guys are great. Thanks for everything

I understand that everyone’s experience may be different, but I can honestly say this facility in Lafayette has made a complete turnaround over the past few years. The Director of Nursing is truly exceptional—I can’t say enough good things about her. She is always approachable, responsive, and genuinely cares about the patients. Pruitt, if you see this, she absolutely deserves recognition for the love and dedication she pours into that building. I’ve witnessed her compassion firsthand, even when she didn’t realize I was watching. The facility is clean and odor-free, which speaks volumes. While I can’t speak for others, I am deeply grateful for the care they’ve given my loved one. I wasn’t able to bring my mom home, and knowing she’s in a place where she is cared for means everything to me. Before judging this facility, I encourage others to visit and see for themselves. In my experience, this is a good place with a compassionate team. Every time I visit, I feel welcomed—it feels more like family than just healthcare staff. They show kindness not only to my mom but to me as well. I truly believe they don’t get enough credit for the work they do—work that, honestly, I couldn’t do myself. I appreciate them more than words can express.

There are to many people in that room, and I don't think they are doing there job because I've witnessed my father's health, and having to ask for some one to cut his nails, they were about an inch long you would notice that if wanted to. I also don't think my father is getting enough to EAT he never finishes or eat s it because he sees that it looks and tastes bad puree why????? He never eats his food says the guy Danny next to daddy so that leads to me wondering they OFFER him something else or if he's hungry ALOT also they don't even keep his false teeth in his mouth, I walked in the other day his lunch was sitting there no teeth so I asked him Where's your teeth he said I lost them, wow so I looked everywhere in his room no teeth not in the bathroom I was already made at this point cn what ever they were were coming in room I was mad as fire because I had brought him TV and brackets to hang on wall a month ago I have a broken single also I had just got over the FLU 3 weeks, they told l me they got the message to guy maintenance so a month later it's still on the window set come on, i think hes Always falling too, sick all the time not properly take. Care no water in cup with some ice maybe??? Danny says daddy drink's his mountain dew not mad Danny says u can buy Cokes and snacks for him which I do you have to just go ahead and give him something he can't hear a word your saying so he'll agree with shaking his head like yea but he does that any questions, also Danny said while he was in hospital someone stole money from his room bad stu
