My mother in law was at this facility for short term rehab. Worst decision we've ever made just because of the management and I guess she's the financial counselor but she is extremely rude and doesn't seem to care what the families of the patient has to say. Would NEVER put a loved one in this place. And it's also slightly run down, some tv's won't work, no phones in patient rooms. Don't put your loved one here.

My mom was there the staff took great care of her!! I Would highly recommend it!! We love all the staff!! Nice clean building and delicious food!

To start with I want to say that what little staff they do have work hard and for the most part are sweet. The facility cuts corners and do only barely what is required to care for me. I am often left an hour or more with no answer to my call button because the one person that they have caring for 25 people is run ragged! What if I were in serious trouble? The staff is not at fault here…the management refuses to hire more help and they know that this puts their residents at risk. The meals they serve to the Medicaid and Medicare patients are hardly edible! I am often not able to eat it and it is always cold. They have given me conflicting information on what is allowed here and what is not allowed. I feel that some of it was deceptive. The one thing that disturbs me the most is the lack of concern about nutrition for these elderly patients. The one thing they need is healthy, healing food but all they get is canned , The meals are in no way contributing to their healing.. This facility doesn’t allow me to have my power chair and I was not informed of this. I am stuck in my bed.unless I am taken to an appointment for therapy. My doctor has told me not to walk on my ankle but I’m forced to walk on it because I am unable to push a wheelchair…the one they gave me does not work anyway. Something is wrong with it. They offered to push me where I want to go but I get left there until someone has time to take me back to the room. This is what I have observed in the week I have been here. Privacy is nonexistent here. I even had to ask a couple of times to be taken to a private room while being asked very very private information about my mental health and past experiences. It is hard to get staff to keep my door or curtain closed even when being changed.

Highly recommend this facility! My MIL was cared for and helped far better than a person could ever ask for. The wound care nurses are amazing. The weekend nurses are very caring and attentive, and provide the best care for their residents. They love their residents like family and treat them as such.

The staff is amazing. I highly recommend this facility! The Physical and Occupational Therapists are the best of the best!! The nurses, CNAs, the Administration, the kitchen to the Housekeeping staff are fantastic. They truly care for their residents and treat them like family. So grateful for their help with my husband’s care/rehab and how they welcomed us into their family. They deserve more than 5 stars!! Thank you PruittHealth- Shepard Hills!
