I transferred here from a hospital in Peoria for 6 weeks of IV antibiotic treatment due to a heart infection. When I arrived none of my medication was available. Of the 5 days I was there I received my antibiotic treatment two of those days. There were multiple times on multiple days that I laid in my own urine for multiple hours I started timing the response time for my call light average response time was 2 and a half hours I sat on my bed and he yelled for help for an hour before someone walked into my room and yelled at me for yelling. I tried to call an ambulance on two different occasions and the nursing home informed me that I was not allowed to go to the emergency room that they were in charge and I was not the third time that I caught in an ambulance the nursing home permitted me to go after calling a doctor at home for permission I remember waiting in the lobby for the ambulance. I don't remember being at the hospital the next thing I remember is waking up in Peoria on life support. Apparently I had gotten so sick that I almost died and Chicago life-flighted me back to Peoria to my original doctors for treatment I would not send my worst enemy to this nursing home facility I wouldn't even call it a nursing home facility I would call it a homeless shelter with people who may or may not need medication 90% of the people there didn't need medication they were there because they only got so much money from disability or social security and they have nowhere else to live so now they're living in a nursing home they were having block parties all night long they were you know ripping and running and doing all kinds of street stuff while I got worse and almost died. This facility needs shut down every person needs their license revoked from that facility if they even really truly have a license to do what they're doing I don't believe it they're so unprofessional and lazy they have personal relationships with the patients that place can you shut down in those people need to never work in the medical field again

WARNING! DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! The residents MUST GET written permission to leave for ANY REASON! Place is run like a prison! Nursing staff are very abusive and disrespectful to the residents! Staff doesn't knock before entering the residents rooms! Nursing staff tried to give medication that WAS'NT prescribed for my loved one! It could have killed her! The CNAs, and staff TALK TOO MUCH about THE RESIDENTS PERSONAL BUSINESS AND INFORMATION! Hallways and rooms smell of urine! They have NOTHING BETTER TO DO than tease and taunt residents instead of tending to them! THEY TALK TOO MUCH! I'm glad my loved one has moved away from this horrible environment! DON'T SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

Nasty dirty its filthy in this place I would've send an animal here my cousin (A cancer patient)room was dirty his food tray was packed with old cups and food i cleaned his room for him his nurse wasn't checking on him they was giving him cold food so I took a microwave to him and they wouldn't let him keep it talking about it was against their policy but wouldn't let me see the policy PLEASE DONT SEND YOUR LOVE ONE HERE
