I’m so ANNOYED ~ please beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing disguised as caregivers. It has been proven twice that they have taken my loved one off the property without permission or knowledge. My loved one has vascular dementia and they use his condition to fit their personal narrative. I think that outings are great for my loved one however they have time to plan and charge his funds for outings but they don’t see the need in letting his POA know, actually stating that he can choose for himself. Setting boundaries of communication and expectations seem to be upsetting and I can’t figure out why ? If an accident happens they hand off a file to an ambulance driver but they do not accompany them to the hospital. They seem to say that I should watch myself or he won’t be invited on outings. My curiosity goes to what if it were their loved one ? AFTER already speaking with the Doctor, Nurse and Social Worker months ago about COMMUNICATION. I view it as them taking liberties that they should not be taking
